Winning Streak

Britney Spears got herself a new hairdo, y'all, which means that folks will be talking about it for days.

I'm not usually a fan of streaks (and by that I mean I generally hate them) but these don't look too shabby. It's unclear if Brit's new hair was streaked before she had it sewn onto her head or after but the job turned out nicely, I think. To be honest, as long as Brit Brit stays out of trubs I'll support any and everything that she does ... even if it does involve streaks.

Docs Get Off Easy in Brit Snooping Scandal

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

All those years in medical school finally paid off for the doctors involved the Britney Spears medical records scandal at UCLA Medical Center.

A new report says that at least 53 UCLA Medical Center employees peeped the popwreck's files when they weren't supposed to -- but the non-doctors got stiffer punishments than the docs did. According to info obtained by the L.A. Times, 18 employees resigned, retired or were dismissed -- none of them physicians.

The report went on to say that the staff at UCLA was celeb-crazed and that employees ran to their computers "within minutes" of Brit's arrival at the hospital back in 2005 for the birth of Sean Preston.

Brit isn't the only celeb to have her records looked through. Farrah Fawcett and Maria Shriver were spied on as well by a UCLA Medical Center employee who also allegedly went through the files of 32 other celebs.

Larry Rudolph On Meeting With Spears: ‘Britney’s Doing Great’

The following italicized article is from www.accesshollywood.com:

Britney Spears’ former manager, Larry Rudolph, has branded the pop star “the world’s greatest entertainer” and said fans should be prepared for an amazing comeback.

“The public, for a while, was throwing darts at her,” Rudolph, who has met with Spears in recent weeks, said on a video clip on his MySpace Celebrity Blog. “She was like that red dart in the center of the dartboard, just getting hit, and I think that the tide turned and people started to understand a little bit more of what’s really going on there and they started to feel for her.”

Rudolph said now that the public has a better grasp about the situation with the “…Baby One More Time” singer, people “are on her side.”

“I think everybody’s rooting for her,” he said in the clip. “Everybody understands what she’s been through, everybody wants to see her get through it and everybody wants to see Britney back. They want to see her on stage, they want to see videos, they want to see her entertain people ‘cause there’s really nobody out there entertaining people the way she did. She is the world’s greatest entertainer. And when she comes back I think it’s going to be huge.”

And Rudolph is in a good place to make such predictions. Rudolph is currently serving as executive producer and celebrity judge on MTV’s “Rock the Cradle,” and he has represented stars including Brit, Nick Lachey, The Backstreet Boys and Jessica Simpson.

In his blog post, Rudolph said he recently spent several visits with Britney and said she is doing well.

“Britney’s doing great. I’ve seen her probably about three or four times over the past couple of weeks and she’s in great shape, really great shape. I see huge improvements for her,” he said.

Rudolph said he has not been talking business with the superstar, instead, old times and her recovery.

“She’s looking to sort of take baby steps and get where she needs to go,” he said. “She’s exercising, she’s eating right, she’s doing great things… I think she’s really well on the road to getting back to the Britney everybody knows and loves.”
