The commissioner in the Britney Spears conservatorship case has just ordered that a sh*tload of fees be paid to various lawyers in the case -- and Brit, of course, will foot the bill.
The Commish has ordered that court-appointed lawyer Sam Ingham can get $10,000 a week through July 31. What the hell is wrong with hiring Jacoby and Meyers?
But that's just the beginning. Andrew Wallet, a co-conservator, just got the green light for $100,000. And the Luce Forward law firm will get $175,000, and that's just for their work through March 31.
Clark Byam, another attorney, will get $22,500. Stacy Phillips, the lawyer repping Brit in the family law case, will get $75,000 for work through March 31.
And Brit pays it all. Ding dang, ya'll. Where's Shakespeare when ya need him?

Britney's Back In The Studio - Again!
The following italicized article is from www.x17online.com:
For the third day in a row, Britney Spears stopped by the recording studio yesterday evening after getting her workout on. We haven't seen Brit hitting up the studio so often since she was putting the finishing touches on Blackout - between her frequent sessions in the booth and her visits to a voice coach, we're really starting to wonder if she's got a new album in the works!
Looks like Britney made sure to wear some of her new Ed Hardy gear, too - doesn't it look spectacular on her?
Can't wait to hear that new album - or whatever Brit's working on!

Britney's Workin' On Her Fitness ... And Her Bank Account
Just yesterday I publicly pontificated on the positive new vibe that Britney Spears has got goin' on these days in that she seemed poised to be in pursuit of making a big career comeback (seriously this time). She's been spending a lot of alone time with her sons, she's been showing up a recording studios and for vocal training around town and she's diligently started a new work out regiment that I presumed was to prepare her for the possibility of a tour sometime down the road -- all extremely positive things. It turns out that while the working out is good she may have an ulterior motive for her frequent visits to the gym -- the Bally Total Fitness gym, I might add. TMZ is reporting that a possible deal is in the works between Britney Spears and Bally's for some sort of endorsement deal.
Sources tell TMZ Britney Spears is in negotiation with Bally Total Fitness to be a frontwoman for the company ... Here's what we know. Brit's parents have both been talking to Bally about making a deal. Daddy Jamie has the power as co-conservator to make it happen. It all happened because Larry Rudolph, who is coming back to manage the Britster, has a close friendship with John Wildman, the Chief Marketing Officer of Bally. During the negotiations, Brit has been going to the club at least once a day and up to as many as three times a day. She's training with two of the company's top personal trainers -- we're guessing one for the front and one for the back. She's also working with the company's nutritionist, who has put Britney on five to six quality meals a day. No Taco Bell, no Fanta ... life can really suck. As of now, there is no deal -- just negotiations. We're told she isn't getting any money yet, but she's working out for free. As a company insider put it to us, "We're more interested in Britney Spears' health than her $19."
This is really great news, Larry Rudolph has already got Britney talking serious new endorsement deals. Sure, she's still a long ways away from scoring mega-million dollar deals with companies like Pepsi again but this is a great first step. There is a Bally Total Fitness in pretty much every city in the country so it's no small endorsement deal we're talking here. Just a few months ago, it would've been unfathomable that any company would want to ally themselves with Britney Spears. It would've been equally unbelievable that she'd be asked to do a guest spot on a TV show and she's already done that successfully. Larry Rudolph is a pure genius and with him back at the helm of Britney's career, he is sure to work as hard as he can to make his big talk about the "greatest comeback in history" a reality. LOOOOOOVE IT!!!!

Britney's Busy Day
The following italicized article is from www.hollyscoop.com:
Britney Spears had a really busy day yesterday--busy being normal. Brit, who has really been keeping a low profile lately, was seen leaving Bally Total Fitness after a private training session in LA yesterday afternoon.
After her little workout session, she headed over to Glenwood Place Recording Studio to work on some tracks.
Sane Britney is no fun, her wild antics used to be the highlight of our day. And now we just sit around and wait for someone new to get knocked up.

Britney Hits the Studio "Just for Fun"
The following italicized article is from www.eonline.com:
Britney Spears has apparently decided her body wasn't the only thing in need of a little fine-tuning.
E! News has confirmed that the "Gimme More" singer is taking voice lessons and has spent the last two days in a Burbank, Calif., recording studio to work on getting her voice back into fighting shape.
Spears, whose 2008 didn't exactly get off on the right foot, careerwise, is not working on anything official, a source close to the 26-year-old comeback kid told E! News, but instead is just looking to enjoy herself right now.
"She's doing it just for fun," the source said. "She's just sitting at the piano, singing a little. She's just in there to have some fun. It may lead to something down the road, but right now this is just part of her staying on the right track."
Spears is also said to be spending time under the tutelage of voice coach Ron Anderson, who, according to his professional website, has worked with the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Anthony Kiedis, Chris Daughtry, Avril Lavigne, Björk, Paris Hilton, Paula Abdul, Pink, Shania Twain, Usher and Tori Amos, among others.
Blackout, Spears' fifth studio album and her first in four years, was released in October and sold 290,000 copies its first week out of the gate to land at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the first time one of her studio efforts didn't debut at No. 1.

Sam Lutfi: I'm "Cooperating" With Britney Spears' Family
The following italicized article is from www.usmagazine.com:
Sam Lutfi says he is on Britney Spears' side as he fights against an extension of a restraining order from her family.
"Sam and the family are communicating and cooperating trying to do whats best for Britney," Lutfi's spokesman, Michael Sands, said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.
In fact, Lutfi agreed to stay away from the singer through July.
At the family's request, Judge Aviva Bobb extended the restraining order until July 31.
Lawyers were in attendance but neither Lutfi nor a member of the Spears family appeared at court.
Lutfi has been forbidden from going within 250 yards of Spears and her home since February.
In a six-page declaration released in February, Lynne Spears accused Lutfi of grinding up Risperdal, a sleeping medication, and Seroquel, an anti-psychotic drug prescribed to treat bipolar disorder, and giving them to Britney.
Lutfi himself admitted in an Us Weekly cover story that he had given Britney "a handful of pills" to help her sleep. Britney, Lutfi told Us, agreed that the meds were helping her sleep.
Spears, meanwhile, returned to the recording studio this week with former manager Larry Rudolph.

Judge Extends Restraining Order Against Sam Lutfi
The following italicized article is from www.accesshollywood.com:
A temporary restraining order against Britney Spears’ friend Sam Lutfi was extended Wednesday after an attorney told a judge all parties had agreed on the matter.
Lutfi was not at the hearing, during which an attorney for Spears’ father gave Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb a document with Lutfi’s signature.
Attorney Vivian Thoreen said James Spears, Lutfi and Andrew Wallet, an attorney who is co-conservator of Britney Spears’ estate, agreed to continue the hearing on the restraining order to July 31.
The restraining order was requested by Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne, when the singer was hospitalized on a psychiatric hold. The order, which was to expire Wednesday, directs Lutfi to stay at least 250 yards away from the pop star and her homes.
Earlier, Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz transferred the matter to Bobb’s court because Lutfi objected to having a commissioner hear it instead of a judge. Bobb is the supervisory judge for probate matters. Goetz will continue to handle the conservatorship of Britney Spears and her estate.
In a statement, Lutfi spokesman Michael Sands said: “Sam and the family are communicating and cooperating trying to do what’s best for Britney.”
