Britney Spears Hospitalized Again for Mental Evaluation

The following italicized article is from www.transworld news.com:

Britney Spears was taken from her Beverly Hills home in an ambulance for the second time this month. The troubled singer was transported to the UCLA Medical Center for mental evaluation this morning around 1 a.m.

According to her manager Sam Lufti, Spears was willingily hospitalized as she realized she needed help. “She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong,” said Lufti. He denies reports that Spears attempted suicide.

A police source confirmed Spears’ hospitalization. “Spears was escorted by police and is on her way to get help,” the sources said.

The 26-year-old has been put on a 5150 hold, which means she can be held by doctors against her will for 72 hours.

Earlier this month, the singer was put on a 5150 hold after a standoff with police. She was hospitalized after refusing to return her children to their father Kevin Federline. A mental evaluation was conducted and Spears was released from the hospital less than a day and a half later.

Sources say Spears’ wild behavior brought on her current hospitalization. “She was driving around her neighborhood like a mad-woman. Britney has been prescribed medication which she refuses to take. This is just another sad, sad evening,” said the source
