The family insider tells PageSix.com that Brit’s mom believes that the singer’s control issues are keeping her out of court. “Lynne thinks Britney is afraid of facing people she sees as having to much control over her life,” the insider says.
Kevin is said to be disappointed that Britney failed to appear in court on Tuesday but “he is beginning to understand that she has an emotional issue with it.”
“The entire experience is scary for her,” the insider explains. “Britney has panic attacks when she has to go to court. She really does love the boys, and wants to make sure she can see them, but her fear keeps her from doing what she knows she should."
