Jamie Pulls The Plug On Woofy

Jamie Spears "has been working hard to stop the bleeding from his daughter's bank accounts since he took over as conservator of her estate earlier this year. First, he got her a role on "How I Met Your Mother," then he started to explore TV sitcoms for the fallen pop tart - and now he wants to promote a furniture line," according to a report by the NYpost back in April of this year. Jamie was in talks with Danish celebrity broker Claus Hjelmbak, a former friend of Britney's pre-conservatorship, to launch a line of Danish accent pieces and furniture in the United States. "Britney will be the face of the brand," an insider said. Well, it looks like that plan has been axed. And by who? Jamie!

The NYpost is now reporting that Britney and Claus may have to hold off on the designing front: "Jamie had worked out a deal with Danish entrepreneur Claus Hjelmbak where she would endorse a line of shabby-chic Scandinavian furniture - specifically, creating a piece called a "Woofy." A spy said, "It was a plastic dog that retails for over $200 and hides electrical wires in your home. Britney wanted to do a pink-and-blue Woofy."

Jamie pulled the plug on the project because he didn't feel "comfortable" with Claus "using" Britney for publicity for the product. Talk about bi-polar...
