Britney Spears has been told by TV executives to keep her comeback performance clean for US audiences.

After getting back on track in recent months with a trim, toned figure and a steamy new video, the princess of pop is gearing up for her first live performance in over a year.

But according to reports the show she had planned on Good Morning America is a little too risque for prime time TV.

The appearance was set to include heavy duty S&M and some of Britney's trademark grinding.

But it seems the former troubled star will be keeping her moves squeaky clean.
