Britney To Sing In Oz
The following italicized article is from www.smh.com:Britney Spears is planning a worldwide concert tour, with Australia on the list.
Wade Robson, the Australian choreographer who is directing the Spears comeback, has revealed details of the pop singer's top-secret tour plans.
Robson, 26, is creating the show, which is expected to make or break Spears in the music industry.
"We just want to do something great and classy and elegant and exciting — and present her in a way that is her but a way that has never been seen. It's another side," said Robson, the Brisbane boy who is now one of the hottest choreographers in the US.
Not only is Robson the creative director but his wife, Amanda, is co-artistic director on the tour, which is expected to generate a wide level of interest because of Spears's much-publicised breakdown last year.
Robson confirmed Spears is hoping to bring the show to Australia, most likely towards the end of 2009. "Right now it's just a US tour and one or two dates in the UK but we're pretty sure that it's going to turn into a full world tour," he said.
Spears revealed on her website last week the cover and track list for her new album Circus, to be released on December 2.
After suffering one of the most public meltdowns in entertainment history (including shaving her head, attacking photographers and losing custody of her two sons), Spears is making a carefully constructed return to the main stage.

Gimme MO2re
The following italicized article is from www.thesun.co.uk:NO wonder she’s been hitting the weights.
BRITNEY SPEARS will play a gut-busting two-week stint at London’s O2 Arena next summer.
And the June gigs will see her throw her cowboy hat into the ring in one of the biggest months in British live music history.
OASIS and TAKE THAT will be playing huge stadium gigs, COLDPLAY are planning to perform at Knebworth that month and U2 are also expected on the road.
Meanwhile, Glastonbury chief MICHAEL EAVIS — whose festival normally rules the June schedule — must be getting a little hot under his wax jacket collar.
Britney will join PRINCE and the SPICE GIRLS as acts who have had an O2 residency.
It will be the icing on the low-cal cake for Brit, who has really turned her life around and got in shape - as you can see in the stunning artwork from her new LP, Circus.
A source revealed: “It will be fantastic for Britney and great for her fans in the UK that so many of them will see her in action.
“She really looks like she will be on top of her game. Her fitness and state-of-mind are improving all the time.”
Britney’s comeback single Womanizer is out on Monday — D-Day for pop divas as LEONA LEWIS, CHRISTINA AGUILERA and BEYONCE are also releasing tunes on the same day.
Britney last played the UK on The Onyx Hotel Tour in spring 2004.
Since then she has married and divorced KEVIN FEDERLINE, had two kids, lost custody and won back visitation rights.
She has shaved her hair off, grown it back and attacked a car with an umbrella.
Britney gave a zombie-like car crash performance of hit Gimme More at the MTV VMAs in 2007.
Then she regained her previously smashed-to-pieces Pop Princess crown when she won three gongs at the same bash the following year.
Now I think about it, it’s quite a long time until June.

The Circus is Coming to Town...
Before y'all start freaking, this is NOT the Circus album cover, but it's (almost) just as cool. It's the first (of many) promotional items you'll be seeing — in record stores, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. I don't know about you, but I got really excited when I saw it. The design is HOT. Image after the jump. xx♥PS That "surprise" you've been harassing me about? (No worries, I'd harass me, too.) Well, this isn't it. It's coming. Sometimes things take a bit longer than expected, but it'll be worth it, promise.

Could Britney Spears Be Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ Again Soon?
The following italicized article is from www.accesshollywood.com:Could Britney Spears be hosting “Saturday Night Live” again in the very near future?
While rumors surfaced on the Internet earlier today that the pop star was returning to “SNL’s” hallowed floors in late November, a rep for the show said they are simply rumors.
A rep for “SNL” told Access Hollywood that there is “no truth” to the story that the “Womanizer” singer is hosting the hit sketch comedy show next month.
Spears, however, will be in New York in December. The pop star will visit “Good Morning America” on December 2 and will treat watchers to a musical performance.
Her new album, “Circus,” will be released that same day, her 27th birthday.

Britney Spears Begins Work On Next Music Video
Britney Spears is hard at work on her next music video and has, indeed, already begun filming said video. At this point we do not know what song the video is for … well, actually we do not know the names of any of the songs on her new album Circus … but by the look of the costumes her dancers were wearing on set, the circus theme looks like it’ll be in full effect. Here are a whole slew of photos that were released on Brit’s official website BritneySpears.com:
Britney and her dance crew are really getting down to business! Here are some exclusive new photos from a recent dance rehearsal — and they are HOT! Britney is dancing around in a pair of boots and with a cane while her dancers move around her. I love how you can see ever-present Andre watching and coaching Britney and the dancers. How hot are these moves looking? How hot is Britney looking? How excited are you to see more?! Britney - you are so back and we are so excited! Thanks for the great pics!! By the way — I almost didn’t recognize our friend Tucker! He just cut his hair and he says he bleached it blonde for an upcoming project.
Damn. These rehearsal pics are really very hot! Brit looks amazing. Here are a few pics of some of these dancers in costume milling about outside the studio where Britney’s new music video is reportedly being shot:
Granted, these costumes don’t look really that sexy in the harsh light of day but I’m sure they will look amazing on video. I am DYING to know what the rest of Britney’s album will sound like … we need a tracklisting or something. No word on when this video will be released or when we’ll hear the song itself. At least Britney is keeping us in the loop as she continues working on her comeback. All of these official updates are just awesome. Keep ‘em comin’, Brit!

"Womanizer" Chart Updates
"Womanizer" is definitely still a contender in today's music industry weeks after its debut. The song has slipped one spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart to #5, just behind Pink's "So What" coming in at #4.
"Womanizer" also remains in the top 5 on iTunes' Top Songs chart, coming in at #3 just behind Taylor Swift's "You're Not Sorry" at #2 followed by Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy" at #1.
Fortunately "Womanizer" has moved up 3 spots on Mediabase, which measures radio spins, placing at #11.
In fact, "Womanizer" has already placed higher on Mediabase then some of Britney's other biggest hits including "Gimme More" (#16), "Stronger" (#14), and "I'm A Slave 4 U" (#18).

EXCLUSIVE: Britney and Mom Workout Video
The first exclusive Britney workout video was so amazing that we shot another one! Britney doesn't always work out in her home gym (and she's obviously been working out a lot lately) so this time we got her working out in the fresh California air with her trainer Seven and her mom Lynne!I love this video because it looks like Lynne might be giving Brit a run for her money on the push-ups and it's so clear where Britney gets her hot bod (I'm wondering if Lynne sings too?).
Watching Britney work out is really inspiring me to hit the gym more regularly. Are these videos inspiring anyone else?

Britney's Dad To Stay In Control
The following italicized article is from www.thesun.co.uk:BRITNEY SPEARS' personal and business affairs will be controlled by her father on a permanent basis.
JAMIE SPEARS was put in charge of the singer's property and finances in February following her public meltdown and the conservatorship was due to end on December 31.
However an LA judge ruled yesterday that Jamie will will stay on indefinitely as co-conservator, with attorney ANDREW WALLETT, following recommendation from Britney's lawyers.
Her court-appointed attorney SAMUEL INGHAM told the judge: "I've met several times with (Britney) and she requested that I not object to the permanent conservatorship."
It is claimed that Britney hopes the move will help her to regain custody of her two children with ex-hubby KEVIN FEDERLINE.
While her case was being sorted out, the singer had another brush with the law yesterday - she got a parking ticket.
Britney's car was parked outside the International Dance Academy in Hollywood while she was shooting her new music video.
