Where Will We See Britney Spears' Spread?

The following italicized article is from www.eonline.com:

The mystery surrounding the Britney Spears photo shoot continues.

Now that we know Patrick Demarchelier is not shooting the comeback kid for Vogue, what could it be for?

Maybe Brit's getting an early jump on Christmas by posing with Sean Preston and Jayden James for their annual holiday card?

Um, probably not...

Most industry insiders I've spoken to put their money on Glamour.

Why?

"Patrick shoots for Glamour all the time," one insider explains. "She's perfect for Glamour. If it's not Vogue, who else could it be for?"

A rep for Glamour would not confirm or deny an upcoming appearance by the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer. "We don't comment on upcoming issues," the rep said.

While known primarily as Vogue's main shutterbug, Demarchelier is allowed to shoot for other mags like Glamour as long as they're within parent company Condé Nast's empire.

Besides, another insider says, Spears has a good history with Glamour. She appeared on the cover of their Women of the Year issue in 2003 and "it sold very well," the insider says.

Spears then appeared at the annual Women of the Year awards alongside other honorees like former POW Jessica Lynch and Seabiscuit author Laura Hillenbrand.

Demarchelier has also shot Spears in the past for Rolling Stone and CosmoGirl.

A long-shot prediction? Vanity Fair. Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter has made some unconventional choices in the past, including a much-criticized cover of Paris Hilton and, to a lesser degree, Lindsay Lohan.

But a V.F. spokesperson says she doesn't think a Spears story is in the works: "It's not something that I've been told or heard about."

A rep for Spears at her music label did not comment, and emails sent to Demarchelier's office went unanswered.

Jamie Lynn Hangs with Britney in L.A.

The following italicized article is from www.eonline.com:

Maddie Briann has gone Hollywood.

Okay, maybe not just yet, but Jamie Lynn Spears did bring her two-month-old kid to L.A. all the way from Louisiana on Wednesday to hang out with Auntie Britney and her two boys.

Mom and daughter, along with Spears matriarch Lynne, were spotted heading into Brit's home during one of the pop star's court-sanctioned visits with Sean Preston and Jayden James, who happen to be turning three and two respectively this weekend.

So who else joined the party?

Brit's ex, Kevin Federline, apparently hung out with everyone for quite some time when he came by to pick up his sons.

While, yes, this can all be construed as nothing more than just family members spending some quality time together, we'd still love to be a fly on this particular reunion wall nonetheless.

Jonas Brothers Offer Support to Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears

The following italicized article is from www.transworldnews.com:

The Jonas Brothers have offered their friendship and support to Britney Spears and her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears. The trio says they are praying for Britney, whose troubles lead to a forced hospitalization earlier this year, and Jamie Lynn, who fell pregnant at 16 and gave birth to her daughter in June.

“It’s hard when everyone’s watching you. All we can do is say, ‘We’re here,’ if they ever need us. They don’t know us, but they’re in our prayers,” says Kevin Jonas.

Meanwhile, the Jonas Brother have shaken off criticism for wearing purity rings. At the VMAs, British comedian Russell Brand slammed the brothers for wearing the rings as a symbol of their vow not to have sex before marriage. Joe Jonas told reporters that all they are worried about is making their mother proud.

“You know, we're just trying our best every day," Joe told reporters. "We're just trying to make our mom proud every day."

Britney and Jamie Lynn's Family Reunion

The following italicized article is from www.people.com:

Meet your cousins!

Jamie Lynn Spears brought two-month-old daughter Maddie to Los Angeles Wednesday for the baby's first ever play date with Britney's two sons.

The 17-year-old flew from Louisiana – along with her baby and her mother Lynne (whose memoir comes out next week). The whole family then headed to Britney's Studio City house, where the singer was enjoying a regular visitation day with her two boys, Preston, who turns 3 on Sunday, and Jayden, who turns 2 on Friday.

Britney’s ex, Kevin Federline, came to pick up his sons himself, and stayed for about an hour to take part in the reunion.

Will The Real Jamie Lynn Please Stand Up?

The following italicized article is from www.infdaily.com:

Is this Jamie Lynn or fake Jamie Lynn?! Or is it the Pope because who else gets a security detail like that through an airport?!?!

In attempt to throw off the paps and fans, a Jamie Lynn Spears decoy was used in LAX yesterday and it was kind of the worst decoy ever. Since when does JL have a bob haircut? A long blonde, wig with cheap highlights would have sufficed. Also the bike cop added a nice touch of importance and heightened security.

Apparently Jamie Lynn is in Los Angeles with Maddie Briann to visit big sis and aunt Britney. An Olan-Mills photo sesh of all the cousins needs to be arranged immediately!

Britney Spears' Collaborators Promise New Album Will Be Her Real Comeback

The following italicized article is from www.mtv.com:

Britney Spears' performance at last year's VMAs was a bad omen for her subsequent release of Blackout, it stands to reason that Brit's new album may be as promising as her successful appearance at the 2008 VMAs. And the producers of her new work in progress assure us that's the case.

"You always want to give her something she can feel intrigued by, because she's done so much," songwriter and producer Sean Garrett told MTV News. "She's had some incredible albums. She's been through so much, so you want to do things that will raise her eyebrows as well as her fans', so we're going to work really hard to give her something exceptionally special."

The singer has been popping in and out of recording sessions in Los Angeles and Las Vegas all summer, and she's been lining up a steady stream of collaborators for the new album, including Rodney Jerkins, Nate "Danjahandz" Hills, Keri Hilson and even Lil' Jon.

Getting Spears' music back in the clubs is a priority, Garrett said, but he's also working on giving her songs with a longer shelf-life than your average dance track.

"This time, we're going to try some different sounds," he said. "We're really trying to push the sound limits. We're definitely going to make sure it's hot, you know, great songs that fans will go crazy over, but I'm not just [aiming to] 'stay in the clubs.' If it's a ballad, a midtempo, fusing techno with hip-hop or whatever it is, what matters is that it has some sounds we've never heard before."

While Garrett wants to push Spears sonically, Hilson said she wants to push the singer lyrically and get some more meaningful songs on the album.

"Of course, everybody's giving her party smashes, and I've heard some of them, and they're great," Hilson said. "But I think we can dig a little deeper this time. I want it to feel a little more real and organic. That's where I want to go with her."

Hilson is due to sit down with Spears in the next week to get on the same page. "We need to figure it out," she said. "Sit down, have a conversation, and see what she's feeling at the moment, and take a bird's-eye view of that."

Beyond that, Hilson doesn't want to overplan her writing sessions with Spears. "Songwriting is one of the most unorthodox things in the world," she said. "Songs come from all sorts of different ways, places and times."

Garrett, meanwhile, is going to play his cards close to his chest for this project. "What's smart to do is not to tell anybody too much about it while it's happening," he said. "Don't tell anybody. Everything is so predictable these days, because the information is right there and no one is keeping secrets anymore. Remember how Michael Jackson used to be mysterious? That's what superstars should do."

And though Brit's collaborators won't spill the details, they will express confidence that we'll like what we hear, once we hear it.

"I'm sure it'll be great," Hilson said. "She's very focused."

"It'll be her real comeback," Garrett said. "At the end of the day, it's about the music, and this is incredible music."

Jonas Brothers' Britney duet

The following italicized article is from www.myparkmag.co.uk:

The Jonas Brothers want to record a song with Britney Spears.

The American band - who were in London, England, last night (10.09.08) for the European premiere of their new Disney Channel Original Movie 'Camp Rock' - admit they would love to be given the chance to collaborate with the talented singer.

When asked if they would like to work with Britney, the band's lead singer Joe Jonas - who stars as troubled rock star Shane Gray in the film - replied: "Oh yeah, that would be crazy!"

Guitar player Nick Jonas added: "We met Britney at the MTV Video Music Awards recently and that was great."

The band's third member Kevin told BANG Showbiz: "We actually lost against Britney in the category we were nominated in at the awards. To lose against Britney Spears was an honour!"
