A multi-city scavenger hunt to find Britney Spears tickets led dozens to an Urbandale park on Friday.
Spears' team and a local radio station posted clues as to where to find the tickets on Twitter. The prize was VIP ring-side seats at the singer's concert Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
One clue read, "Look close to the center of the city and you'll find a card, the size of a drivers license so you better look hard." Another Tweet read, "Hopefully you have 'EAGLE' eyes; because you'll have to look high and low for this surprise." Around noon another Tweet appeared," The circus will be fun, we're not lion...remember you're looking for a little card...we know where we'd be tryin." Tweets also hinted at a city that starts with "U", a circus animal statue and tennis and basketball.
The Tweets started around 8 a.m. and by 1:40 p.m. Kathy Knoetfler had found the treasure.
Knoetfler found a laminated card jammed under a picnic table at Lions Park in Urbandale at 72nd Street and Aurora Avenue. The card read, "congratulations you have won tickets to Britney Spears circus tour" and included a phone number to call.
Knoetfler was called to the park by her daughter, Madison, and son, Jackson, who were in the park about 30 minutes before mom found the prize.
Madison, a senior at Dowling High School, said she was thrilled to get the tickets. The family didn't yet have tickets to the concert.

Britney Spears Gets in Some Shopping Before Leaving Chicago
The following italicized article is from www.chicagotribune.com:
Britney Spears can thank Oprah and U2 for the lack of buzz surrounding her visit to Chicago this week. The talk show host and Irish rock band stole most of the headlines, making Spears somewhat of an afterthought.
The lack of Britney buzz was also due, in part, to her low-key lifestyle these days. Or at least low-key by Spears' standards. There were no outrageous club stories or panty-less pictures, just a couple of sightings at downtown restaurants and a visit to Bloomingdales.
On Wednesday, Spears ate at Bistro 110 with her two sons before performing at the Allstate Arena. The following night, she had dinner with her kids at Baisi Thai, which is located on the 6th floor of The 900 Shops. Spears ordered sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour shrimp and broccoli and beef -- or as the Chinese place down the street from me likes to call it, the No. 105, the No. 106 and the always popular No. 85.
After dinner, Spears stopped by Bloomingdales and bought a few things from the children's department.
