Jonas Brothers Are Huge Fans Of Britney Spears, “Clothing”

The Jonas Brothers, like most young men, are an excitable lot. And, based in this video from On Air With Ryan Seacrest, nothing excites them more than Britney Spears songs and clothes. Because they’re actually young girls.

While the Bros can’t confirm the rumor that they’re collaborating with Spears, Nick says it would be “an honor” to work with a singer who’s “a legend at this point.” Kevin’s favorite song of hers is “Toxic,” while Joe sticks with earlier hits like “…Baby One More Time.” Naturally.

There’s no interband friction when it comes to creating a fashion line, though. “[We] definitely would be loving to do that,” says Kevin. “We’re huge fans of clothing, and things like that.”

Joe provides a slightly more specific response, suggesting they’d love “give it a try” to work with “some of [our] favorite designers, like Jay Lindenberg or Marc Jacobs…or Ralph Lauren!”

Hey, why don’t you guys try out for Project Runway next year! You sound like you belong on the Lifetime network more than Disney anyway.

Jonas Brothers: What It Was Like Meeting Britney

Even the Jonas Brothers get star struck every now and then.

At last weekend's MTV Video Music Awards, they met Britney Spears for the first time.

"Hell yes - we were so excited!" Kevin Jonas told Usmagazine.com at Sunday's City of Hope benefit concert in Universal City, Calif. "It is an honor and privilege to meet Britney Spears, of course. She looked great."

Added Joe Jonas, "We didn't want to become a 'Hi, Britney Spears, nice to meet you' and take a picture [type-of-thing].

"I said, 'We have always loved your music,' and I told her she was the first CD I have ever bought," he went on.

"She was like, 'Wow! Thank you,'" Joe told Us. "She asked us how Big Rob [her famous old bodyguard] and Felicia [Culotta, Spears' former longtime personal assistant] were doing."

The boys told Us they're about to begin production on their upcoming Disney Channel original series, J*O*N*A*S.

"We are kind of here for 5-6 months shooting the TV show," Nick Jonas said.

Joe said the show will focus on "being a band and living every day life, whether that be taking the trash out or going to school.

"It is going to be really cool," he added. "We are helping to design the show, from the clothing to the set design."

Jonas Brothers Offer Support to Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears

The American band - who were in London, England, last night (10.09.08) for the European premiere of their new Disney Channel Original Movie 'Camp Rock' - admit they would love to be given the chance to collaborate with the talented singer.

When asked if they would like to work with Britney, the band's lead singer Joe Jonas - who stars as troubled rock star Shane Gray in the film - replied: "Oh yeah, that would be crazy!"

Guitar player Nick Jonas added: "We met Britney at the MTV Video Music Awards recently and that was great."

The band's third member Kevin told BANG Showbiz: "We actually lost against Britney in the category we were nominated in at the awards. To lose against Britney Spears was an honour!"

The Brit's Eye View from Backstage

The red carpet of the Video Music Awards was its own kind of eye popping spectacle, but during the show I couldn't take my eyes off Britney Spears. And I wasn't the only one, She had at least two bodyguards watching over her the whole time. At one point a fan tried to approach her but one of the guys gently told him to beat it.

Taylor Swift got better treatment, however, and just walked over to chat with Brit, who then posed for pics and gabbed with the Jonas Brothers. Britney gave a hug and kiss to her former bodyguard, Big Rob, who now works for the Jonas Brothers.

Even though Britney won her first VMA early in the show for best female video (and two more later) she seemed pretty mellow over all.

After the show, Britney took a walk through the lot to Stage 11 where the press was waiting for her. As she walked through, she was like the piper piper....press and fans were following her like mice...and more and more people kept joining the herd that was following her. If was a like a fairy tale, but one that ended abruptly.

One moment she was getting touched up in a make up mirror just outside the press area…and then she was gone, whisked into a photo-only area where no pesky questions could be asked.

Who could blame her for that (besides me, of course). She looked fab, kept it together and seems like she's getting her career back on the good foot.

Brava Britney!

Jonas Brothers: We Want to Meet Britney Spears at the Video Music Awards

The Jonas Brothers aren't just looking forward to their performance of "Lovebug" on the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards - they also hope to be introduced Britney Spears, who's opening the show.

The Jonas Brothers are excited about their first VMA performance.

But Joe admitted he's afraid he'll trip as he walks up stairs during the performance of "Lovebug," their new single.

"When I have to walk up stairs, I am like, 'Oh No,'" he told Us. "I was like, 'Can I just have a jet pack or something?'"

Nick also revealed to Us their inspiration for the song.

"We wrote it from our hotel room [over] Christmas break of the Hannah Montana tour," he said. "We sat down and wrote it that night in about 15-20 minutes.

"Juno was one of our favorite movies at the time," Nick explained. "It was weird intimacy."

The song is about "when you fall in love with somebody and they break your heart, or you break their heart, however it ends," Nick said. "You think that's it forever and it is never going to happen again. That is until the 'Lovebug' hits you."

Kevin added, "For us, it is throwing any past inhibitions to the wind."

The Jonas Brothers are heading to London after the VMAs for the premiere of Camp Rock.

Britney's VMA Performance "Top Secret?"

Well, not anymore! More speculation that Britney will be performing at the 2008 VMAs. 1iota.com, an online ticket selling venue, is selling tickets for the outside performance by the Jonas Brothers. The site says:

Britney's been a part of several surprise performances for the Video Music Awards. The show airs Sunday, September 7th.

Fe AKA Felicia Culotta Says "Britney's Doing Great!"
