Britney Jetting to India!

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

Rumors are swirling that pop princess Britney Spears is jet-setting across the globe again -- this time to meet with Indian choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.

According to reports, Brit will allegedly meet with Soparrkar for a two-day practice session for the new video of her hit song "Womanizer." While Sandip didn't confirm that the two would practice moves for a new "Womanizer" video, he did confirm that Spears would be heading to India to shake it with him!

"I'll be meeting her for work only, when she visits Jodhpur," Sandip told the Times of India. "We'll just be doing a bit of rehearsals, since I am planning to do the rumba, which is the dance of love. Britney is really looking forward to coming to India. She's heard a lot about it and what tops her list here is trying out the spicy Indian curry."

Brit was recently snapped leaving a dance studio in L.A., where she reportedly cast new dancers for next year's "Circus" tour.

Simon: Brit is 'Back on Top'

The following Italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

Restored pop princess Britney Spears performed on "The X-Factor" Saturday night, helping the UK series nab its biggest ratings ever -- and only "Extra's" Terri Seymour was behind the scenes with judge Simon Cowell, who praised Brit's performance, saying, "A star is a star is a star. Incredible. She's back on top."

Cowell added, "This girl's got huge star quality... You've got to hand it to her. She's a great performer." And how would he rate her? "Britney's back... 9.5 (out of 10)!"

When asked how Cowell managed to book Spears on "The X-Factor", he explained, "We got a phone call, 'Do you want Britney on the show?' Let me think about that, 'Yes.' And that was it." Even Cowell couldn't believe the paparazzi frenzy surrounding Spears' appearance. "That's the price you pay for being a star. Her pictures are worth a fortune."

Britney Cheered in Bronx

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

Recovered pop mom Britney Spears stopped by a Bronx middle school on Wednesday to present a $10,000 check to the music department on behalf of Elizabeth Arden -- the company producing her perfumes.

"I really enjoyed the time I spent at the John Philip Sousa Middle School," Spears told People magazine of her brief Bronx visit. "I've been working with the people at Elizabeth Arden for the last five years, and I know how passionate everyone is about the school. Arden produces Brit's fragrances, Believe, Fantasy and Curious.

Although school was not in session because of the Jewish New Year, Britney was welcomed by a musical performance. "I loved hearing the school orchestra and the children sang so beautifully," said the newly lucid star.

Spears plans to tour in 2009, and she let the eight-piece band know that if she is looking for an opening act, they should be ready, "You'll be the first people I call."

Brit's New Vid Bringin' Back the Wigs!

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

"Extra" has the inside scoop about Britney Spears' new music video shoot -- wacky wigs, new tats, and kitchens?!

Brit shot the video for her new single "Womanizer" in Downtown Los Angeles yesterday. Scenes were filmed in the Elevate Lounge and inside the kitchen of Takami Sushi and Robata Restaurant. The pop mom missed tucking in sons Sean Preston and Jayden James - when the shoot wrapped past 3:00 AM, but maybe it wasn't her night with them. Britney was escorted by manager Larry Rudolph -- and dusted off her old wig collection for a black bobbed wig with bangs.

It's rumored the recent VMA winner was looking fit. A Takami source had only positive things to say about the restored star. "Britney was in a good mood and looked fit at the shoot." The source also revealed Britney was wearing super-tight pants, possibly leather. At one point she wore a cropped tuxedo vest and sleeveless tux top.

Spears already has half a dozen tattoos, but added even more for the video! Temporary tats covered Britney's left arm. Yes, she's in the pink, and ink.

Brit's X-tra Performance!

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

Britney Spears is going from A-list to X-list! "X-Factor" judge Simon Cowell confirmed to "Extra" that Brit will be performing on the hit Brit music show.

"Yes, I think Britney Spears is going to perform on 'The X Factor,'" Simon said. When asked how Cowell managed to snag Spears, he replied, "We didn't GET her. She's got a record coming out. We have the number one show in England. It's the best show for her to perform on. We're absolutely thrilled to have her."

The "American Idol" judge also his personal opinion about the "Gimme More" singer. "I've always said this about Britney -- that she's a hugely talented person. Everyone wants to work with her because she's a star. She's the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show... The fact that she goes a bit crazy occasionally makes her more interesting. And now she has her career back on track -- fantastic. I'm thrilled."

The snarky judge also admitted that Britney's past erratic behavior didn't deter him from booking her. "If she wants to shave her head before she comes on the show, she's welcome to," said Simon. "I don't care."

A Spears Tour? Don't Hold Your Breath

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

Will Britney Spears kickoff her 2009 tour with a New Year's Eve performance at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas? Rumors have been rampant these past few days, but no one from Brit's camp has confirmed or denied anything, but the Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting the tour probably won't happen.

The Journal believes the pop star's manager Larry Rudolph knows better than to plop her on a stage in a mere 3 months time. Reporter Norm Clarke writes, "Spears has got to get comfortable with the media again; and my hunch is the timetable involves getting her out there soon for sit-downs and cover stories to promote her new album." Sure sounds logical, but with Britney, anything can happen.

Her new studio album, "Circus," is scheduled for release on Dec. 2, Britney's 27th birthday. Clarke doesn't believe a tour is completely out of the question, saying, "...the launch will be closer to February."

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

The pop mom, who nabbed three moon men at the VMAs, received lots of love from her fans and supporters in the Tinseltown community. Brit Wins Big at VMAs

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

The pop princess has been restored to the royal house!

A sparkling Britney Spears took home three "moon men" at Sunday night's Video Music Awards -- proving that her reign in the music world is far from over -- by nabbing honors for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Best Video of the Year for her hit, "Piece of Me." Just seven months ago, she was hospitalized with a psychiatric disorder, and her father became her conservator.

A shocked Spears, who won her first MTV VMA award ever last night after 16 nominations, said, "I'm speechless. Oh, my goodness, thank you! I first wanna thank God for blessing me like this, and my family -- my two beautiful boys for inspiring me everyday."

Host Russell Brand brought the laughs to the stage -- but some felt he crossed a line when he poked fun at the Jonas Brothers for their purity rings. After being blasted by Idol Jordin Sparks later in the evening, the Brit comic apologized onstage.

The following italicized article is from www.x17online.com:

Britney Spears' life may seem glitzy and glamorous - but according to one of her collaborators, it hasn't gone to the pop princess' head!

Keri Hilson, one of the songwriters working on Brit's upcoming record, characterized working with Britney as being "completely normal" during a conversation with Extra backstage at F'N MTV yesterday. "You wouldn't think that - but [she's] very normal," Hilson said. "We just have girl talk and bang out a song, just like any other artist I would work with."

Keri also dished a few details about Brit's next album, confirming that she'd be working with Danja and "the rest of Timbaland's crew", and that she'd already started working with Britney in both Vegas and LA. "I'm excited," she told Extra. "We're going to bang it out this time!"

We're certainly pumped to hear it - after all, the last time Keri and Britney collaborated on a song, they came up with "Gimme More"!

The following italicized article is from www.thatotherblog.com:

After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn’t talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she’s doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she’s in a great place right now.

As far as Britney’s comeback goes, he said,

People love her. They really love her. People understand what she’s been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she’ll get it together. And I think she’ll have a huge career again. I think she’s going to make the biggest comeback in history.

We sure hope so Lar! Also in the works, is a contest that will allow a Britney fan to spend the whole day with her this summer. More details to follow.

Larry Rudolph Breaks His Silence on Britney

The following italicized article is from www.ok-magazine.com:

Larry Rudolph, the one-time manager of Britney Spears who she famously ditched and publically blamed for pushing her into rehab, is speaking out about his newly mended relationship with the singer.

In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn't seen Britney in more than a year — until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever.

"After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn't talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she's doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she's in a great place right now."

OK! was first to exclusively report that the two were communicating again. As for a Britney comeback, Rudolph says, "People love her. They really love her. People understand what she's been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she'll get it together. And I think she'll have a huge career again. I think she's going to make the biggest comeback in history."

If loyalty counts for anything in the entertainment business, Rudolph wins the prize. But Britney's one-time manager has a lot more on his plate these days than the recovering pop star.

Rudolph is set to debut his own reality TV show, Rock the Cradle, which premieres April 3 on MTV. The show is centered around the children of legendary music icons who battle it out on stage.

But Rudolph says don't expect another American Idol. "Each week is going to be different," he says. "The first week is going to be, they have to sing a song that best represents their relationship with their parents, which is very interesting."

Rudolph to Lead Britney to Comeback

The following italicized article is from www.extratv.warnerbros.com:

Larry Rudolph, the man who discovered and made Britney Spears a star, sat down with "Extra" to provide exclusive insight into the comeback planned for the troubled pop princess. He also talked about his hot new MTV project, "Rock the Cradle."

Rudolph has had an on-again/off-again relationship with Brit, most recently ended in early 2007 when he encouraged her to seek help. Now the two are talking again, but it's too early to say if he'll be managing her. "She'll get it together. I think she's gonna make the biggest comeback in history," Rudolph told "Extra" today.

Larry's new show, "Rock the Cradle," pits the sons and daughters of music legends against each other in a live competition and premieres tomorrow on MTV.
