Getting back in work mode, Britney Spears showed up to a local studio in Los Angeles, California on Thursday afternoon (August 12).

Wearing an ear-to-ear grin on her face, the always-interesting pop star was accompanied by her conservator father Jamie Spears as she made her way inside to lay down some new music.

Tweeting about the outing, Brit Birt wrote to her many fans and followers, "What's uuupppp tweethearts? Spending the day in the studio recording."

The previous evening, Miss Spears made her way to Staples Center to check out the Lady Gaga (though she left early), as she tweeted, "On my way to go see @LadyGaga - Brit"

CLAIM: Britney Has Meltdown Over Justin Timberlake

“Britney Spears pitched a god-awful fit when her ex-flame Justin Timberlake refused to record a duet with her,” claims the National Enquirer.

The singer allegedly had a “violent outburst,” where she “yanked out her hair extensions and cursed at her father during a recording session, stunning music producers.”

A so-called Enquirer source explains,”Britney desperately wanted Justin to sing with her, and weeks ago she asked him to record a duet for her latest CD.”

“But Justin wouldn’t make a commitment, even though they both record for Jive records,” leading to “a temper tantrum that would put a 2-year-old to shame.”

What’s a shame is that the tab is still whining about a relationship that ended eight years ago, and alleging there are issues when, in fact, there is no bad blood between the two pop stars.

Adds a source close to Spears, the meltdown tale is also “not true.”
