Moving on up!
Britney Spears' beau and manager Jason Trawick has a new gig. The 39-year-old has left his position at William Morris Endeavor to "create an arts and entertainment division" for a company called Famos LLC.
So what does this mean? Trawick will no longer be Spears' agent. He'll oversee Famos' arts and entertainment brand, F*star. The brand will be a partnership with musician and media impresario, Dave Stewart and legendary Rolling Stones' frontman, Mick Jagger.
Trawick -- who worked for WME for 12 years -- will continue to work closely with his former employer as the new online service, currently under wraps at www.famos.com, readies for a planned summer debut.
"As agents, we're constantly getting pitched deals with some new technology that's going to revolutionize this or monetize that, when basically they're all just reading off the same script," Trawick said. "Famos is a different animal -- a disruptive technology that respects the artist and values the fan, which is basically everything my clients ever wanted… It's a very exciting opportunity for me professionally, and I'm humbled to be a part of such a visionary partnership."
