Britney Spears shows off her tan as dines at Il Sole restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old pop princess has been frolicking on the beaches of Costa Rica the last few days as Mel Gibson’s houseguest. Also soaking in the son in Costa Rica was her father, Jamie Spears, and her agent Jason Trawick (he is said to mastermind behind Brit’s two cameos on How I Met Your Mother).

Dad Working for Britney Spears Full Time
The following italicized article is from www.people.com:
Britney Spears's father Jamie quit his catering job to dedicate himself full-time to overseeing the pop star's affairs, court papers show.
As a result, Jamie Spears was given $10,000 in back pay to cover the first month of his co-conservatorship of her estate, which started Feb. 1, according to the documents. He was awarded a $2,500 weekly salary beginning in March.
"The responsibilities he has assumed as conservator ... have required [his] full-time attention," says the request for "replacement compensation." "As a result, he has been unable to continue to his prior employment and he has lost his source of income which he needs to pay his living expenses."
Since Jamie Spears took over his daughter's personal and professional affairs, the singer has secured expanded visitation with her two sons, who live with Spears's ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Welcome Back
Britney Spears's much-deserved vacay in Costa Rica has come to an end ... Miss Brit Brit returned to the SoCal area last night and is already back home again. Here are a couple of screencaps from a Hollywood.tv video of Brit's arrival back in town:
From the looks of the photos that came out of Costa Rica this weekend, Britney really had herself a good ol' time with her family and friends. Not once did we see her with Mel Gibson (who hosted the Britney Bunch at his Cosat Rican compound) but I understand that he was available to "counsel" our dear Britney in between all the fun. I'm not a Mel Gibson fan -- by any means -- nor am I a fan of his beliefs but I can appreciate that he has reached out to help Britney get her life in order and can be commended on that front. As long as Britney continues to heal her life, I can be happy with how she goes about with that healing. I imagine Britney is anxious to spend time with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, which might account for her return to LA. Welcome back, Britney ... we've missed you :)

VIDEO: Britney Spears Returns From Costa Rican Trip
The following italicized article is from www.usmagazine.com:
Britney Spears' five-day Costa Rican getaway with actor Mel Gibson has ended.
On Tuesday, hollywoodtv.com posted footage of the singer, 26, arriving at California's Burbank Glendale Pasadena Airport.
Spears was all smiles during her trip, which she also took with father (and co-conservator) Jamie.
Gibson — Spears' former Malibu neighbor who has helped people with sobriety issues — hosted the Spears clan at his $25.8 million, 402-acre ranch on the Pacific coast since last week.
During the vacation, Spears went body surfing. On Saturday, she was photographed zipping around the beach on an ATV, snapping shots of her dad relaxing in a lounge chair.
She even strutted around in a bikini.

Britney Arrives Home From Costa Rica
She's baaaaaaaack. As I reported earlier, Britney arrived back in Los Angeles after her trip to Costa Rica this evening around 7:30pm PST at the Bob Hope airport in Burbank. She's seen here exiting her private jet. They get that whole thing to themselves?! Shiiiit. The end of the video is Jason and Brett at some convenient store. Is it just me or is the assistant loving this... And why is the paparazzi singing to Jason. And why are these two being filmed anyway? So many questions, so little time. Glad you're home, Brit!
