File this under 'wishful thinking.' Original douche bag Sam Lutfi must be on some good stuff because he's convinced that Britney wants him back in her life and he's ready to reconcile.
A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Sam believes that he and Britney are still friends. If the restraining order is lifted, he'll be back in her life for sure."
Wait, it gets better! The source added: "Sam insists it will come out that the restraining order was against the wrong guy. So lifting the order would give him the chance to protect Britney from the vultures out there."
Britney was a psycho loon while she was friends with Sam. Her friendship with him landed her in the psych ward twice, she lost custody of her kids, and hooked up with a paparazzi. What makes him think she would want him back in her life?? She's finally back on track thanks to her family's intervention. Her fans would shred him to pieces if he were spotted with her. Reconciliation denied!

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Dr. Drew: Britney Spears "Started to Unravel" When She Met K-Fed
The following italicized article is from www.usmagazine.com:
Britney Spears' fall can be traced back to her introduction to ex-husband Kevin Federline, Dr. Drew Pinsky explains in the new E! True Hollywood Story of her life, premiering Friday, July 25 at ET/PT.
"If you take Britney's life and put a moment in time where things started getting bad, it's the moment she got involved with Kevin Federline," Pinsky opines.
"That's when things started to unravel," he adds.
Watch Usmagazine.com's exclusive preview of the documentary above, courtesy of E! Entertainment Television.
Spears, now 26, seems to have bounced back from her low, when she was hospitalized in January following a dramatic custody dispute.
On Saturday, the singer made a surprise appearance at a fundraiser for Jenny McCarthy's autism charity Generation Rescue in Los Angeles.
Spears "definitely looked happy," a witness tells Us. "She was clapping and smiling a lot."
It was Spears' first public outing since reaching a custody agreement with Federline, 30, last week.
While Federline gets sole custody, Spears gets three visits a week from Sean Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden James, 1 1/2, including two overnights.
If all goes well, she could have her boys roughly 40 percent of the time, her attorney, Laura Wasser, has said.
Wasser told the Associated Press the "difference" in Spears "from the beginning of this year to now is astonishing."

Fresh off the resolution of her child custody battle, Britney Spears lent her star power to worthy cause helping kids battle autism.

Britney appeared to be in good spirits, according to fundraiser guests.
“She looked great and seemed really happy,” a party guest told People. “She smiled and clapped during the video about autism. She was very into the information and watched a little bit of the dancers from ‘Dancing With the Stars’, sneaking out during one of the performances.”
Brit wasn’t the only celeb stepping out for the good cause. Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were also spotted at the event, along with director Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan.
Inside the event, host Jim Carrey kept spirits high by challenging another partygoer to a “Dancing With the Stars” style dance-off.

Britney 'Didn't Save' CBS Sitcom
The following italicized article is from www.digitalspy.co.uk:
CBS has denied claims that Britney Spears' appearance on How I Met Your Mother "saved" the show.
Ratings for the sitcom were given a boost when Spears starred as ditzy receptionist Abby in two episodes. It was only after Britney's episodes had aired that CBS announced the programme's renewal for a fourth season.
However, the network's entertainment president Nina Tassler has now insisted: "It was never in danger; we just took a while to make the announcement [of its renewal]."
The show's co-creator Craig Thomas has confirmed that "the door is open" for further appearances from Spears. Her role has also been praised by the sitcom's stars Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris.

Britney Spears – “Hey Mama, I Know It’s My Cash You Seek…”
The following italicized article is from www.theinsider.com:
Britney Spears is planning to use her new album to get revenge on those who have wronged her, according to a report yesterday.
Following her highly-publicised personal problems, the pop star is spending the summer in the studio to work on the follow-up to her 2007 album Blackout.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Spears has already penned a number of tracks. One, tled 'ATM', accuses her mother of using her for money. It contains the lyrics: "Hey Mama, I know it's my cash you seek... You know they treat me like an ATM, but y'all know that I'm too good for 'em."
Another track reportedly suggests that Justin Timberlake was not her first lover. tled 'Already Bad', it reveals, "I know you thought you were the first, but I had already quenched my thirst, I was already bad."
An insider told the newspaper, "The songs are up tempo and there are some wicked heavy beats. She's built on the foundations she laid in her last album, Blackpout.”
"These tunes will change the way people think about Britney. A lot of people have messed her around over the years and she's bottled up all this anger and now she's just let it all out."

Britney 'Forced' Into New Album
The following italicized article is from www.news24.com:
Britney Spears's record label is trying to force her into recording a new album.
The troubled 26-year-old singer - who was recently photographed emerging from a recording studio with her manager Larry Rudolph - wants to concentrate on her acting career, but is reportedly being pushed to make a new record.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Britney wants to focus on her TV and movie career right now. Jive Records and Larry are having trouble getting her to record, so they forced her hand by releasing the photo of her and Larry and a statement saying she is working on a new album this summer."
Earlier this week, Larry revealed Britney was busy recording her new album.
He said in a statement: "She is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album. She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters, and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet."
Earlier this year, Britney received rave reviews for her two cameo appearances in US TV show How I Met Your Mother, prompting speculation she may return to the role in future episodes.
The mother-of-two also enjoyed success with her 2002 movie Crossroads and was in
negotiations to star as Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard. The role was eventually filled by Britney's pop rival Jessica Simpson.
Britney's last album Blackout was released in October 2007 and proved a hit with both critics and fans.

'New Britney Album Out In Mid-December'
The following italicized article is from www.foxnews.com:
Britney Spears is definitely in the studio and working on a new album.
Yes, despite unclear signals from various gossip sites, I am told that Spears is working on a CD that Jive is expecting to get out by mid December.
The album is a follow up to Blackout, the Spears album that tanked quickly after its release in late 2007.
How different will the new CD be from Blackout? Well, not a lot really. Many of the same producers and writers will be on this one, too. The main difference will be that this time Spears won’t first self-destruct on the MTV Music Awards and then have a public nervous breakdown while the album is being released.
If they can finish the album and get it out without incident, my guess is that Spears will go out on tour in 2009. Paparazzi, bloggers, this is advance notice to get ready!

'Blackout' has acutally sold 3,6 million copies but oh well...

Britney Spears Has 2 Men On The Go
The following italicized article is from www.nowmagazine.co.uk:
Britney Spears is back in contact with her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib – as well as spending time with her agent Jason Trawick.
Dad Jamie, who lives with 26-year-old Brit, refuses to allow former paparazzi Adnan, 36, in the house. But the pair have been texting each other virtually every day for the past month.
In one message Britney declares that she’s still in love with him and can’t ‘wait to be on her own’ and have her dad out of her life.
But Jamie, 59, is pushing his daughter towards another man – her agent Jason Trawick. The pair were spotted together on 4 July enjoying an Independence Day date on a yacht at LA’s chic Marina Del Rey.
‘Jason’s been by Brit’s side for over 2 years,’ says a source. ‘But while Jamie may portray them as boyfriend and girlfriend, it’s just not happening. Adnan’s the one she loves.’

Britney Spears Steps Out For a Good Cause
The following italicized article is from www.people.com:
With her divorce settlement behind her, Britney Spears took time out on Saturday night to do something for the kids, adding star wattage to Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's fundraiser for Generation Rescue, an organization dedicated to researching autism.
"She looked great and seemed really happy," says a partygoer of the Snow Queen Vodka-sponsored shindig at the couple's home in Brentwood. Though she kept close to her assistant Brett and didn't speak to other guests, "She smiled and clapped during the video about autism. She was very into the information and watched a little bit of the dancers from Dancing with the Stars, sneaking out during one of the performances."
Also at the bash were newlyweds Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller ("The honeymoon isn't over!" remarked one guest), a "lovey-dovey" Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan, who kissed and danced all night, and of course the host couple.
"Jenny and Jim were adorable," says the guest, "She kept saying, 'I love you honey' to him when she thanked him from the stage." Carrey, not to be outdone by the DWTS folks, soon took to the dance floor, even challenging another guest to a playful dance-off.
Says the guest, "Jim was hilarious."
