Judge Rejects Bid to Remove Jamie Spears as Co-Conservator

A California Court of Appeal judge rejected an attorney's bid to remove Britney Spears' father Jamie as her co-conservator on Monday.

Attorney Jon Eardley, who claimed to represent Britney, filed an appeal March 11 claiming that the singer's civil rights were being violated because she was being held against her will by her father.

But justice Roger Boren wrote in a ruling that the court has no jurisdiction to grant an appeal, the Associated Press reports.

Jamie's co-conservatorship over Britney (who wowed critics last night on How I Met Your Mother) was recently extended until July 31.
