Keri Hilson: Britney Is The Most Dedicated Artist I've Worked With

During a recent interview, Keri Hilson, the mastermind behind ‘Gimme More’, revealed that Britney is by far the most dedicated artist she has ever worked with. According to Keri, Britney, who was heavily pregnant with Jayden, ‘was the size of a house’ but would still spend hours on end in the recording studio laying down tracks for her album ‘Blackout’:

“I don’t know if I could be as dedicated as she was. “Having to stand up for hours in her condition and sing? I never would have guessed how normal she is.”

Keri goes on to say that Britney would use her time in the studio as an “escape” from the intense media scrutiny she was put under at the time:

“She was catching so much hell from all corners, but she left it all outside the studio and came in ready to work.”

The Legendary Miss Britney Spears ventured out into public yesterday to make a quick trip to Starbucks … something that old skool Britney fans know is one of her fave activities:It’s funny … after all the craziness in her life, after all the things she’s been thru there are only a few things about our dear Britney that remain the same … I guess old habits do die hard. But it seems clear to me that we’re now dealing with an older, wiser Britney Spears. She’s been home for a couple of weeks now and she’s decided to stay home for most of that time. No partying, no shopping … no nothing. It appears that she is resting up as much as she can before she has to start up her tour again and head over to London, England for an 8-night residency at the O2 Arena, followed by a few dates in other parts of Europe. Britney's Bills as Hefty as Ever

Just in case you were worried that Britney Spears couldn't possibly afford to pay all those legal bills and lead her usual swanky lifestyle—fear not.

Sure, Spears' estate shelled out more than $3 million in legal fees between Feb. 1, 2008 and Dec. 31, including the $625,000 she was ordered to hand over to Kevin Federline for his family court expenses.

But she had plenty left over, considering she racked up bills of $447,634 for security; $49,387 for home repairs and maintenance; $105,000 to rent her Malibu digs; and $178,818 for childcare.

Other expenses that qualify Spears' status as rich: $188,556 on assistants and other employees; $285,594 in mortgage payments; $5,998 for "decorations"; and $1.06 million in "miscellaneous business expenses."

All told, Spears spent upward of $10 million during those 11 months.

From March to December Brit blew $447,633.69 on security alone. Six months of household repairs and maintenance ran her $49,387.22.

Britney also spent $625,000 to pay Kevin Federline's lawyers, as ordered by the courts. In the docs, the payments are referred to as "Federline Fees."

K-Fed ain't doin to bad either -- from March to December, Britney kicked over $178,818.00 in child support payments.

Grand total expenses for Brit between Feb. and December -- $10,116,678.23.

Britney's Jury of Her Peers -- Ding Dang

Britney Spears 'Wants To Be A Teacher'?

Britney 'Plans New Europe Tour Setlist'

Britney 'Demands Private Jet For UK Tour'

Tickets For Britney's Finland Concert Sell Out In Hours

Tickets for Britney Spears’ concert went on sale at Finnish ticket agencies and were sold in a matter of hours. In fact, the entire concert was almost sold out by the evening.

At that point, only a few tickets in the cheapest EUR 99 category were available, as the more expensive tickets had been sold right away.

A total of some 40 special seats carried a hefty price tag of EUR 400, while some special seats were also available for EUR 300 and EUR 250.

Britney Spears is to take the stage at the Helsinki Arena on July 16th.

This is the artist’s first visit to Finland. The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour was launched in the USA in March.

Sam Lutfi May Have to Foot Britney's Legal Bill

His wallet may be taking a hit next.

Lawyers for the singer asked a Los Angeles court last Friday to order Lutfi, who once was her manager, to pay $123,142 to cover Spears's legal fees for the courtroom battle over the restraining order.

In addition, her lawyers are seeking $129,922 from Jon Eardley, an attorney who has challenged Jamie Spears's control over his daughter, and $72,292 from her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Both Eardley and Ghalib were also ordered to stay away from the pop star.

A judge has yet to sign off on the request.

He has also reportedly been pouring tens of thousands of dollars into making a second CD, even though his first one was a flop. Now he is set to move from Tarzana to the less expensive area of Chatsworth, the magazine says.
