Lea Michele is super excited for Britney Spears’ upcoming appearance on an episode of Glee, where the pop star will have a role on the show. At a party last night in Hollywood, Lea gave us a little sneak peek of what to expect on the show…

“We’re recreating Britney Spears’ videos…a few of them, in fantasies, so I happen to be caught in my tracksuit. Whether or not that’s “Hit Me…Baby One More Time”, you can put the pieces together”. Lea actually had it mind to sing another song before coming to a realization : “I wanted to do “Circus”, which we’re not doing, but I realized that the choreography would be way too hard for me !” said Lea.

CLAIM: Britney Has Meltdown Over Justin Timberlake

GimmeBritney Announcement on 'Secret'

The story behind the tease on our site is simple. We had received word from a very reliable source a few weeks ago within Sony Music about a new Britney release coming in September, with an album release for November (09.10.11.10 referred to this) and an announcement being made approximately around the 27th of August. This information was from the same source that provided us with the information on The Singles Collection and also the Circus single cover. The exclusive info, coupled with what Darkchild had said himself and MTV reporting the same, has made us believe that this information is true and that a tweet from Britney's manager was to throw everyone off the scent of the new music coming "not right now", but soon.

There is also strong indication from other places that something big from Britney is coming. The Glee episode, the release of her new perfume, two magazine features...not to mention pre-orders for a new Britney album have popped up everywhere.

We have decided to cease counting down as a mark of respect to all Britney fans, and to stop speculation on what is already out there from various sites. We do not want to mislead fans into thinking that we know more than what UBritney.com, or any other site had posted. We might have known it first, but at the moment we don’t know any more than they do – Britney’s camp is being extremely tight-lipped on anything music related at the moment. We have never intentionally posted false information to risk our reputation, which is more than what can be said about BreatheHeavy.com – one of their articles was posted as B.S on Britney’s official site just this week. gimmeBRITNEY's standing point on this right now is there is a STRONG indication that something is still coming next month, and we are thinking very positively. A new album release is still not on the Sony Music release schedule (as we reported earlier), however there are massive signs of promotion there which cannot be explained as to why Britney would do so much for nothing. But there is now doubt in what we've heard from BreatheHeavy.com - and although we don't believe it, we must acknowledge that it was posted from a "source", and write you guys - the fans - this note.

The article goes on to talk about the other fashion lines but I’m most interested in this bit about Britney‘s success. I’m constantly wowed and impressed by the new feats that our dear Britney Spears achieves. The girl has worked so hard for so many years that not even her personal failings can keep her down for long … the immense love her fans have for her have kept her afloat long enough thru the darkest times in her life that she has managed to come out for the better on the other side. Britney puts out a single, it goes straight to number one. Britney goes on tour, it immediately sells out … forces new tourdates to be added. Britney puts out a clothing line, it flies off the shelves. Despite all the negativity from haters, Britney continues to succeed. I cannot wait for her to move on to her next endeavor (hopefully, a new album). There is still much success to be enjoyed by Ms. Britney Spears.

More Details about Glee's Britney Ep

Ryan Murphy is giving up some pretty good scoop on the Britney Spears episode.

He spoke exclusively with Ryan Seacrest this morning and answered some questions about the Britney episode.

He also squashed the rumor that they were going to do a Britney Spears head shaving scene, saying they are handling the Britney episode with kid gloves. I think Ryan must have gotten a huge backlash from Britney fans about mocking her breakdown- thus why he backed out of that idea. Smart move.

He said the episode will have Britney in a few scenes (although I doubt we’ll get any dancing or singing from her). More likely is that Britney may appear in the cast member’s dreams since the episode is based on a hallucination that takes place after John Stamos’ character puts the kids under in his part as a dentist.

Sounds funny so far! We all know how funny she is.

Maybe Britney might even spill some music details at the end of the show. It would be huge since all her fans will be watching this episode of Glee. Wonder how badly the viewer ratings will put Madonna’s to shame.

Rumour - 1st Single Produced by Pharell

Britney IS coming up with new music and she does have a new single hitting airwaves before the end of August. The song, produced by Pharrell Williams, is said to be ready. According to the first reports I got, the song was called My Big Secret (it was also added to BMI). It's just a few hours ago that it was confirmed that My Big Secret was actually a song recorded back in 2001 which means it has actually nothing to do with the new single or album... But, the new single IS produced by Pharell and this is what Darkchild was referring to when they said something was coming up for Britney fans.

So, she does have a new single coming out and the album should be released by the end of 2010. Production is still being done on the yet untitled album. Britney's management is keeping everything under tight wraps but they do have a secret for us, Britney fans...

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow? Britney Stylist Rumor Wrong

For all the chatter about how things are going with boyfriend Jason Trawick, is the most tumultuous relationship for Britney Spears the one she has with her hairstylist?

That’s what E! Online claims.

“Brit-Brit’s a serial stylist switcher because management won’t let her commit to just one,” reports the site.

Wait, what?

“They don’t want anyone getting close to her,” a so-called “source” whispers to the E! gang. “They won’t use anyone who has done her hair in the past and won’t let any current stylist see her more then (sic) three times.”

So the people around Britney Spears are terrified that the person who does her hair will get too “close” to her? And, what, exactly? Brainwash her? Gain her trust and then hold her extensions for ransom?

The article doesn’t really explain why Spears would be subject to such a bizarre policy… probably because there isn’t any such policy.

“That’s insane,” a source close to Spears tells Gossip Cop regarding the supposed stylist rule.

As for why Spears has had a number of different hairdressers over the years, our insider points out that the pop star’s demanding schedule often means that a previously used stylist is unavailable, leading to a session with someone new she likes, and that the cycle just repeats.

Sounds like this rumor is shear nonsense.
