United World Chart Update

Slipping six spots from the previous week Circus comes in at #12 on the United World Chart selling 67.000 copies this week worldwide.

It has now sold a total of 2.627.000 million copies worldwide.

How Did Perez Become Part of The Circus????

Perez is insanely excited about his very special role in Britney's upcoming tour.

How did we become involved in the show??? Well, thanks to the genius that is Jamie King.

The brilliant director/choreographer has worked with Madonna on all her tours this decade and he is the mastermind behind Britney's Circus tour.

We had never met or even spoken to Jamie before. But, he somehow got ahold of our contact info and gave Perez a call.

King told us that he had a dream about Perez and wanted us to be a part of The Circus. His dream is the video we shot last weekend, which is the opening video for the entire show.

Britney was down with the idea and we, of course, said yes!

We are thrilled to be a part of it!

The show will be a culmination of a year of hard work for the pop star.

We've seen a bit of the rehearsals, and the best way we can describe it is sensory overload and amazing. The show is not only "in the round" but there are three circus rings with action going on in all of them - dancers, acrobats, aerialists and more.

It's major!

We can't wait to see how it all comes together!

Inside Britney's New Video!

The following italicized article is from www.intouchweekly.com:

As In Touch first reported, Britney Spears shot the hot new video for her controversial tune “If U Seek Amy” on February 10. Now here are more secrets from the set! Drawing from real-life experience, the songstress starts off as a sexy housewife. "In the first shot, she's dressed in a pink tank top and white skirt, with two kids and a husband donning preppy J. Crew attire," an insider tells In Touch. "Britney hands the paparazzi an apple pie over a white picket fence while the family of actors watch." The video, directed by Jake Nava, later features a "provocative" Britney in a "black bustier and snakeskin ripped leggings" as she dances in a kitchen scene.

Though the pop princess was hard at work, an insider claims she never ate during shooting, only sipping a Red Bull and Coke when all was finished. But an exhausted Britney needed some rest and relaxation while shooting. "She left all the actors waiting an extra hour so she could get a massage," adds the insider. "But Britney is back to her old self again, she's working harder than ever!" The song is the third single from her album Circus and the hotter-than-ever star will kick off her U.S. tour on March 3.

Britney and Nine Inch Nails Share Rehearsal Space

Trent Reznor of the Nine Inch Nails is speaking up about sharing a rehearsal facility with Britney while both prepare for their separate tours.

"I can hear the thumping low end of Britney Spears. It's been a treat having them here the whole time we've been here."

In response, Britney's manager, Adam Leber, says "Brit has been sharing the same rehearsal space with NIN for the past few weeks and they are getting along famously. Maybe we should ask Trent Reznor to remix Circus?"

What do you think, Trent? Up for the challenge?

Spears Given "Nerve Pills" For Tour

The following italicized article is from www.showbizspy.com:

Britney Spears has been prescribed "nerve pills" to beat the stress of her upcoming world tour, a new report claims.

The singer is due to embark on the 33-date tour on March 3 in New Orleans.

But Spears has been suffering paralyzing panic attacks as she prepares to hit the road - and those close to her are "panic ridden" the star will go AWOL, so are "keeping her medicated to calm her down," according to American tabloid the National Enquirer.

"It's scary," a source told the publication. "Her dad Jamie's calling all the shots for Brit - making sure qualified medical people know what they're doing, and trying to talk Brit down from one emotional meltdown after another.

"We know she's been prescribed Valium, plus the anti-anxiety pill Ativan. Mixed with Stattera for her ADHD, Topomax for migraines and Lithium for her bipolar disorder it's a wonder Brit even knows who she is any more.

"There's no kidding around among her family. They've all stressed this is the last chance for Brit - make Circus a big success of be ready to hang it up and retire.

"Everyone around her is dreading a repeat of the January 2008 fiasco when she fell apart in public. Her CD's doing well, so pulling off this tour without losing her head means Britney Inc. is back in biz and making money."

It is estimated Spears, 27, will make $130m from the tour.

More IUSA Video Details!

The following italicized article is from www.x17online.com:

We've got even more inside scoop on Britney's latest music video, and it looks like the pop princess has ditched the doting housewife ensemble for some sexier costumes and a brand new booty shaking routine!

When she shot the video on Tuesday, Britney wore a pink polo shirt, a white high waisted skirt and she rocked a short blonde wig. Looks like her wardrobe people did a total 180, as we're told Brit's new outfits are way more revealing.

An on set source tells X17online exclusively:

First off, there was a LOT of dancing. Yesterday just focused on getting the dancing part of the video done. Britney looked great, very smooth and focused. And no need to fear, the short wig was gone and Britney had beautiful long hair. The outfits were basically the opposite of what they were the day before. They were all very flashy, fun and sexy.

And Brit even hung out with the crew! Our source continues:

During our dinner break, Britney and friends actually sat with the crew which was really cool. She was laughing and having fun the whole time. She's actually really cute with her natural hair too. She had it all slicked back because of the wig she had on earlier. But yeah the shoot has been going really well and the video should be amazing.

While our source claims to be a member of Brit's production crew, we have not been able to confirm the identity of this person and cannot vouch for the truthfulness of his/her statements.

However, what he's told us seems to add up - we drove by the set the other day to check things out for ourselves, and sure enough, there was a heart shaped sign on the door of the house Brit was shooting at the other night.

Wonder when we'll get to see her latest video masterpiece?

Britney Spears' Ex Under Felony Investigation

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

We've learned Adnan Ghalib -- the one-time boyfriend of Britney Spears who is under court order to stay away from her -- is under investigation for felony assault with a deadly weapon with a vehicle.

Here's what went down. Yesterday morning, a process server went to Ghalib's Encino apartment to hand him legal papers ordering him to appear in the restraining order case.

The process server was waiting for Adnan Ghalib in the alley when Ghalib rolled up and allegedly hit the dude with his car. The process server says he landed on the hood of Adnan's car.

Adnan allegedly fled the scene and the process server called cops at 10:42 AM. Police arrived and noticed the process server had cuts and scratches, but he refused treatment.

The case is under investigation. Ghalib is the suspect and the alleged crime is assault with a deadly weapon with a vehicle -- a felony.

We spoke with Ghalib -- he had no comment.

Tsk tsk Adnan. Violence is never the answer...Unless you tried to run over Sam Lutfi...in that case I'd give ya a cookie.

Britney Spears Plays a Sexy Housewife in New Video

The following italicized article is from www.people.com:

Britney Spears is a mega pop star, a mom of two – and now a happy homemaker in her new video, sources tell PEOPLE.

The singer, who plans to hit the road for her Circus tour next month, spent Tuesday filming the video for her upcoming single "If U Seek Amy," in which she plays a sexy housewife dressed in blonde '50s style wig, fitted pink top and white skirt.

"The video begins with Britney coming outside her house to hand the paparazzi an apple pie that she baked," says a source. "She acts like she wants to hook up. The video is very provocative."

In part of the video, Spears is accompanied by two adorable perfectly-groomed children and a straight-laced man wearing khakis and a sweater over his shoulders. But a source says there are also lots of dancers "dressed in skimpy outfits in metallic color" and revealing costumes for Spears included in the shoot.

According to several sources, Spears was very professional and upbeat on the set. "She was like the old Britney at the shoot. She was engaged and excited the whole day and seemed like her old self," says a source.

"If U Seek Amy" is the third single from the album Circus. Spears kicks off her new tour in New Orleans on March 3.

More Details On Brit's Sexy Music Video Shoot!

The following italicized article is from www.x17online.com:

X17online spoke with a source on the set of Britney Spears' latest music video shoot, and we have some juicy details for you!

The video was shot at a $4 million traditional home near the Palisades bluffs, and the conservative neighborhood seemed a bit surprised to have the pop princess shoot what is expected to be her most raunchy video to date in their community! However, it seems like everyone involved had a blast, and we can expect a super sexy video very soon!

Our on set source tells us:

"Britney looked like she was having a blast. Earlier in the day between takes, she was playing this mind reading game with her two boys and they LOVED it. After they left, she was a lot quieter. Around the end of the shoot, she seemd to be getting a little anxious for some reason. She probably was ready to go home."

The front door of the house had a red heart reading 'I Love You' in large letters, and our source tells us that for this part of the video (which was the first day of a 2-3 day shoot) Brit plays the role of a "suburban housewife"! We're picturing Britney with an apron and a pie in her hands, but our source assures us that we can look forward to "a much sexier, risque Britney" in the final video.

Filming has wrapped at that location, and there was only one truck cleaning up the remaining props earlier this morning, so we can't wait to hear about the rest of the shoot! We love sexy Brit Brit videos!

Can't wait to see this one!

Britney Shoots Her New Music Video

The following italicized article is from www.x17online.com:

If you seek Britney, you'll be happy to know that she was shooting her latest music video at a private residence in Pacific Palisades last night!

The pop princess left the set around midnight in her brand new Mini Cooper (with her bodyguard in the passenger seat, of course), and she looked tired but happy.

We're hearing that she was shooting the video for "If You Seek Amy," and while there were rumors that Madonna would join her for the shoot, we didn't see the queen of pop anywhere near the Palisades last night. That doesn't rule Madonna out though - they could easily film another clip somewhere else and throw it into the video - hopefully that's the plan!

Fighting Sam Lutfi Is Really Really Expensive

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

The lawyers in Britney Spears' conservatorship case went to court this morning to ask the judge for... what else???? They want to hire more lawyers to defend Britney.

Brit's mouthpiece claims the singer needs two civil lawyers to defend her in Sam Lutfi's defamation case against Britney and her family. Here's the deal. The two lawyers will cost a grand total of $935 an hour. The judge gave the green light, so the Bank of Brit is fully open for business.

Spears is expected to keep the legal profession afloat during these hard economic times.

Lady GaGa: Britney Is The Queen Of Pop

The following italicized article is from www.nowmagazine.co.uk:

What's it like writing songs for Britney Spears?

She’s a nice girl – I just feel very honoured that she wanted to sing my song. I used to scream for her in Times Square and now I work for her. When I was 13 she was the most provocative performer of my time. I love her so much!

Did you share any tips with her?

Britney certainly doesn’t need any freakin’ tips from me! Britney Spears is the queen of pop. I was learning from her.

Culotta says, "Britney has always held a special place in my heart, and over the course of the last year I have seen her work harder than she ever has in her entire life. Britney Will Tour With Kiddies

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

It's official... Britney Spears will go on tour -- for a price.

We've learned Jamie Spears and K-Fed have now both signed the document we told you about last week, which clears the path for Brit taking her kids on the road for her upcoming concert tour. What, you ask, is in it for Federline?? How bout $5,000 a week.

As we first reported, the way the deal goes is Jayden James and Sean Preston will follow Britney to three hubs -- New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Britney will commute back and forth from each hub during the tour. She's also renting houses in New Jersey and New Orleans for Kevin if he wants to come along for the ride. But K-Fed gets the $5,000 a week, whether he shows up or not.

But wait, there's more. We've learned the deal Jamie and K-Fed signed memorializes the custody arrangement they've all been following since last year. Britney gets the kids 3 days and nights a week, according to the new agreement, which will remain in effect after the tour is over. We're also told many weeks, Britney has the kids more than Kevin. So in effect it's 50/50 custody.

Score another victory for Brit's lawyer, Laura Wasser, who sealed the deal.
