A source close to Britney Spears tells PageSix.com that the pop star took her mom, Lynne Spears, and manager, Sam Lutfi, to breakfast this morning at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Afterwards, the Spears clan indulged in a little retail therapy and bought some make-up.
All the better to cover up those dark circles since our inside source says that Brit was up all night, unable to sleep because of the events that transpired Monday evening at her home.
Now that she's physically in the picture, what are Lynne's plans to help her daughter? There "are no plans for an intervention," our source says, "but for Britney to continue seeing a psychiatrist." We are told that this was a planned visit for Lynne and although things are far from perfect between the two of them, Britney knows she really needs her mom right now.
On the contrary, the source says dad Jamie doesn't get it. "Britney is in a very fragile state at the moment and only genuinely trusts Sam Lutfi and Lynne. [Jamie] simply doesn't grasp how unstable his daughter is."
