Taking the stand Monday afternoon, Britney Spears' dad Jamie testified in hopes of making the temporary restraining orders against Adnan Ghalib, Sam Lutfi, and a former lawyer John Eardley permanent. Ready for battle, the eldest Spears had some fighting words for the men who were once central figures in his daughter's life.

While Jamie was unable to point to any specific incidences of Lutfi threatening Britney, he pointed to menacing text messages he received from the alias "Citygalin310".

"I absolutely believe that Citygalin310 is Sam Lutfi. Sam is very deceitful and lies." Jamie said. In one of his more explosive statements, Jamie claimed "Sam put drugs in [Britney's] biscuits", often kept her out until 5 a.m., and restricted Britney's contact with her family.

Jamie has also been under scrutiny since stepping in as his daughter's conservator, but he says Britney has greatly improved under his watch.

"[Her career] was pretty well a disaster, nothing was going on, but she was in the tabloids," he says, describing the time period during which Lutfi oversaw Britney's activities. "[Today] weight-wise she's eating properly, she's very stable, making her meetings, and taking care of the babies."

As Radaronline.com previously reported, Britney did not appear in court and neither did Ghalib or Lutfi.

Sam Lutfi Sues Britney Spears

Sam Lutfi has filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents for libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract

.According to the papers, Sam claims Jamie and Lynn "launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney's life.

"In the lawsuit, Sam claims he was standing in Britney's kitchen on January 29, 2008 when Jamie stormed into the house. Lutfi alleges Jamie yelled at him, claiming Sam made a rude comment to Lynne the night before. Then, Sam claims, Jamie "intentionally punched him in the chest" and threatened to kill him if he ever heard Sam make a rude comment about Lynne or any member of the Spears family again.

All the claims of libel and defamation spring from Lynne's book, "Through the Storm." Lutfi says since the publication of the book, he "has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."

Lutfi also claims Britney broke a contract with him and owes him unpaid management fees. He claims he had an oral agreement with Spears to be her manager for four years, earning 15% commission.

Last Friday, Britney was granted a restraining order against Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib, barring them from having any contact with her, her parents or her kids.

Expert: Britney Spears's Father Likely to Remain in Control

Britney Spears's father will likely remain in control of the singer's affairs following a court review Thursday, an expert says.

"I would be very surprised if the court ends her father's control so soon," says Terry K. Wasserman, a mental health attorney not involved in her case. "It's rare for someone to regain their capacity in just 60 days."

Two months ago, Spears's attorney Samuel Ingham testified that the pop star was unfit to take part in legal proceedings. "In fact, they could be harmful to her," Ingham said.

Jamie Spears, 56, was named temporary conservator of her affairs on Feb. 1 following his 26-year-old daughter's two forced hospitalizations in January.

He has sole authority over whom she has contact with, and has hired security guards to watch her 24 hours a day. Her father also shares control with another lawyer over her multimillion-dollar estate.

Conservatorships can last anywhere from several months up to a person's lifetime. "Britney can only regain control of her life if she proves to the court – backed by medical experts – that she's regained her health," Wasserman says.

Thursday's hearing will also determine whether a restraining order will be renewed against the singer's former pal Sam Lutfi.

Last week, Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline, 30, ended their custody battle, reaching a settlement in which Federline retains sole custody of sons Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2, with visits by Spears.

Problem is, whether or not the conservatorship expires or is extended will mean a double-edged sword for Britney. If the judge continues Jamie Spears' control over his daughter's estate, this might better secure Brit's visitation with her two boys (right now, she has overnight visitation with Sean Preston and Jayden James).

BUT, if Brit is indeed deemed well enough for the conservatorship to expire, that might have a negative effect in her custody battle with ex Kevin Federline... will she risk losing her visitation rights with the kids? Will the judge not rule in her favor then? We hope not!

Britney Spears: Out With Mom

In a state of panic Spears takes off the hood, revealing her long blonde locks, looks straight into the camera and says her famous line ‘It’s Britney, b**ch.’”

BRITNEY WINS GREATER ACCESS TO KIDS AFTER NEW HEARING

Britney Spears will be permitted more access to her two sons after a new hearing in her custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The troubled singer will be allowed more visitation time with Sean Preston, two-and-a-half, and 20-month-old Jayden James after a Los Angeles judge recognised Britney's efforts to maintain a low profile, following a lengthy spell of worrying behaviour.

She had lost custody of the two boys in October and saw her visitation rights suspended in January after she was admitted to the psychiatric ward of UCLA medical centre after a public stand-off with police following a visit.

But according to Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, the court has agreed to "an expansion of time" in Britney's permitted visitations with her children.

Mr Kaplan added: "It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless.

"We are seeing signs of [Britney's] progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin... The children are doing great," he told People magazine.

The Toxic star's public appearances have been drastically reduced since her father James and attorney Andrew Wallet were granted temporary co-conservatorship of her affairs, with a well-received cameo appearance on US sitcom How I Met Your Mother her most high-profile outing.

James Spears and Wallet's control of Britney's estate was extended until July 31st last month while a restraining order against her ex-manager and confidante Sam Lufti was also upheld by a Los Angeles district court.

I never actually spoke to him over the phone, was too chicken to call when he said to, although the one time he did call I picked up and just didn’t say anything (I’m shy, lol) but recorded him speaking. So we technically only ever spoke via text…and after a few random text messages about pretty much nothing, I braved it up to ask him about Britney and everything going on (not even thinking he would say anything), and that is when I received the message about Lynne. That same day I received a threatening text message from Sam which, frankly, I am too scared to show anyone — after the things I’ve been hearing and seeing from my friend, he is definitely someone I would not want to have anything to do with any longer.

Now, our friends at OK! magazine tell us that a friend of Lutfi's reached out to the pub in hopes of brokering a big pay day for him.

OK! tells us:

Someone claiming to be Sam’s representative contacted OK! wanting to make a deal for his story — despite the fact that he had signed a confidentiality and non-disclosureagreement with Britney. Sam had also previously made several attempts to sell photos he’d taken of Britney in private.

Hopefully Brit Brit did make him sign a confidentiality agreement.

EXCLUSIVE: Sam Lutfi Admits He Gave Britney Spears "A Handful Of Pills"

Sam Lutfi, who is now on the receiving end of a restraining order imposed by Britney Spears' parents, was the one person by her side as she unraveled over the past six months.

In the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, Spears' de facto manager and confidant opens up about her bipolar disorder, how he medicated her, what happened the night she was hospitalized, and how her parents reacted.

"In the depressive episodes, it's all crying," Lutfi tells Us. "But in the manic episode, there's very little crying or sympathy or compassion. She becomes another person. She becomes somebody that just doesn't care about anybody or anything."

"The British accent is part of the mania," he adds. "She'll stick to the British accent because she becomes comfortable with it... But you know, when the pink wig comes on, it's getting bad."

Lutfi says that when Spears was involuntarily committed to treatment at UCLA Medical Center on January 31, her mom, Lynne Spears, arrived and tried to remove her daughter from his guidance. "Well, he is better family than you guys will ever be," Spears responded, according to Lutfi.

Lutfi tells Us that he gave Britney "a handful of pills" before her parents arrived. "I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills," he recalls. Spears, Lutfi says, agreed that the meds were helping her sleep.

(In their restraining order against Lutfi filed yesterday, Spears' parents accuse him of drugging their daughter and being verbally abusive. Jamie, who has been named as his daughter's conservator, "is doing what he has to do to save Britney," a source tells Us.)

Spears is one of nearly six million American adults suffering from bipolar disorder, a mental illness consisting of extreme shifts in mood, thought, energy, and behavior patterns.

Lutfi, 33, tells Us only he, Spears, and her psychiatrist know what brought on her bipolar disorder "roughly five years ago."

When the ambulance arrived to take Spears, "she was very quiet," Lutfi tells Us.

"When I told her, she wrote me a note and put a big heart on it and it said, 'I love you, Sam. Are there people coming? Circle yes or no,'" Lutfi recalls. "Oh, my God, it was funny, just the cutest little thing. I circled yes and I gave it back to her, and she looked at me and she's like, 'Oh, lord, here we go again.'"

Attorneys are fighting on Spears' behalf to take conservatorship away from Jamie. Having Jamie in control of her estate and medical decisions is a worst-case scenario for Spears, sources tell Us.

Restraining Order Against Sam Claims He Drugged Brit, Controlled Her Life

The restraining order requires that Sam stay at least 250 yards away from Britney's home, vehicle, workplace, children, sibling's homes, parents' homes as well as the UCLA medical center.

The harassment order, supported by a sworn declaration by Lynne herself, claims that “Sam has essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances”.

It goes on to describe the "harassment" Britney has suffered, saying "Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney. He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell

Lynne's declaration details the night of January 28th, the night of Brit's first meltdown after a fight with Sam outside of her home.

Some of Lynne's testimony outlined the various ways in which Sam controlled Brit, including verbal abuse (he allegedly called her "a piece of trash and a whore"), threats (he apparently told Lynne "you people throw everyone under the bus, if you don't listen to me I'm going to make your name shit in the papers"), disconnecting various cell phone chargers and car batteries so that Britney couldn't drive or communicate with anyone without his knowledge, and perhaps most shockingly, that Sam claims to "grind up Britney's pills" and puts them in her food so that she will sleep.

Britney then became upset, claiming "someone was lying to her" about who was keeping her at UCLA. Jamie said, "No, I'm not keeping you here." A nurse came in to tell Brit that the hospital was keeping her there, not her dad.

In the declaration Jamie says, "Britney told me that she had fired her lawyers and that she had new lawyers."

According to the declaration, Jamie also said he didn't tell Britney about the results of the conservatorship because "given her emotional and psychological condition and her dealings with Sam Lutfi, I believe Britney is incapable of keeping information from Mr. Lutfi. In particular, I believe if she knew I was planning to seek a conservatorship, she would tell Mr. Lutfi about the planned conservatorship."

I have personal knowledge of each of the facts set forth in this Declaration, and can testify completely thereto, except as this matters stated on information and belief, and as to such matters I believe them to be true.

This past Monday night (Jan. 28), Britney’s father, Jamie, and I (in separate cars) went to Britney’s house in Beverly Hills because we had heard news reports that Britney had just been in a big fight with Sam Lufti aka Sam Lufti (“sam”), the man who has inserted himself into my daughter’s life, home and finances, and that she was crying. We were very concerned about her safety. We arrived at the Summit Community gatehouse in BHPO at approximately 10 p.m. I was with my friend Jackie.

The guards at the gatehouse stopped us there for awhile. Jackie, Jamie and I finally proceeded to Britney’s house and entered it. We were able to enter the house because it was not locked. Britney does not lock her doors and currently there are no security guards around her residence. Britney was not home. We found Sam, and sam said as we walked in the door that Britney only wanted me to come to the house, and that she was afraid to see her dad.

Two or three paparazzi came into the house and entered the kitchen. They greeted Sam. The paparazzi then reported to Sam where Britney currently was. From the conversation between Sam and the paparazzi I determined that sam had given Felipe (another paparazzi) one of Britney’s cars to get her out of the house when he heard that Jamie and I were on our way to see Britney. I also understood from the conversation that Sam disabled all of Britney's cars. (she has several at her residence.)

Sam had told Britney that Jamie and I were coming to the house to do an intervention, and that Britney panicked and took off with Felipe. Another man named Chad Hardcastle was in the house.

I also heard the evening that Britney’s and Sam’s fight that evening, Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan, her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve her kids.
The paparazzi reported to Sam and addressed him with great respect. They treated him like a general. He instructed them to get her back to the house. They later told Sam that Britney was on her way back.

Britney then came back to the house with Adnan, who is also a paparazzi. Sam then told Jackie that we needed to do whatever he tells us. I objected. He then told me, “I’m the one who spends 24/7 with your daughter. I sleep in cars outside her house so she can’t leave.” Sam then said, “You people throw everyone under the bus, if you don’t listen to me I’m going to make your name sh** in the papers.”

As I looked around the kitchen, I noticed that in the middle of the kitchen table there was a large car battery. At some point during the evening I learned that the car battery was there so Sam could charge his cell phone. Although Britney has several cell phones, he told us that he had disposed of all of the phone chargers and had made the house phones unworkable.

Sam told Jackie and me to tell ADnan to leave Britney alone and to get the F*** out of the house. Jackie refused. Sam then said to tell Britney that Adnan is gay. Adnan stayed at the house a little longer. Sam quietly said something to Adnan and Adnan promptly left the house.

Britney came into the room looking for Adnan. Sam told her that Adnan was in the bathroom. Britney then asked me, “Is Adnan gay?” While Britney was out of earshot, Sam told Jackie and me that we should pretend that Adnan was in the bathroom so Britney wouldn’t leave.

Britney then became very agitated and could not stop moving. She cleaned the house. She changed her clothes many times. She also changed her three dogs’ clothes many times. Britney spoke to me in a tone and with the level of understanding of a very young girl. Britney then picked up a bottle of pill sand read part of the label and asked us, “What does insomnia mean?” Sam told her that the pills will help her stay awake.

Sam told Jackie and me that he grinds up Britney’s pills, which were on the counter and included Risperdol and Seroquel. He told us that he puts them in her food that that was the reason she had been quiet for the last three days (she had been sleeping.) He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain.

Sam then encouraged us to sit down on a sofa and do “tequila shots.” Jackie and I said we did not want to. Britney seemed to follow our lead. Sam then got some wine out and said, “Let’s all do toasts with wine.” Britney said that she didn’t want to, she wanted a pretty glass. Sam found a glass with a stem and poured wine for Britney when we were not looking. Britney refused to drink her wine and asked to drink mine.

Shortly afterward, Sam went back into the kitchen and was standing behind a raised bar so that we could not see what his hands were doing on the counter. Sam then said to Britney, “let’s go upstairs,” and Britney followed him. Britney had calmed down by the time she went upstairs.
A little while later, Britney came downstairs. She seemed agitated again and told us that she wanted to go to Rite Aid for lipsticks. It was now past midnight. Jackie and I said we would take her. Sam told us that he wanted to follow us in his car. We told him that he shouldn’t because the paparazzi were in front of the neighbor’s house and would harass us. As were were about to drive off, Sam jumped into the bask seat of the car. The paparazzi followed. Sam and I were sitting in the back seat, with Chad as well. He told me that he gave Britney something (when they were upstairs) to make her more light-hearted, happy, and fun. We entered Rite Aid and Britney chose her lipstick. The manager said it is dangerous out there, which it was. When Britney gave the cashier her credit card, the cahsier told her it was not working. I paid for the lipstick and the manager told us we could leave through the side door so no one could see us. Sam insisted we leave through the front door and he put his arms around Britney and me for the paparazzi to take photos. I disengaged as quickly as I could.

Sam told me,” You’d better learn that I control everything. I control Howard Grossman, Britney’s business manger. I control her attorney's and the security guards at the gate. They don’t listen to Britney, they listen to me. That’s why Jamie was gone tonight.”
At another point in the evening, Sam bragged to me that he is the one who receives Britney's checks and that one of them was for me. I told Sam that I hadn't gotten any checks from Britney. Sam then told me that they are in his car. He told me that if he weren't in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself. Then he said to me "If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave."

He then proclaimed that he has been in the family for a year and that he had one nothing but good for Britney. At this point, it was two or three in the morning. Britney was meandering around the house. She would let me hug her, but she was out of it.

At one point during the night, Sam was screaming at me and Britney said to me, “Sam treats me like that.” Then she picked up the house phone and said, “Look at the phone, it doesn’t work.” Sam then blamed the dead phone on Britney. Jackie spoke up and said to Sam, “You said you cut down the phone wire.”

Britney then said again at some point during the night, “When do I get to see my babies?” Sam answered, “Wednesday. “ Britney then said, “What do I have to do to see them?” Sam responded, “Take the pills I tell you to take.” Britney said, “I don’t like the pills and I don’t like the psychiatrist. Can’t I see another psychiatrist so I can see my babies?” Sam responded, “If I told you to take 10 pills a day, you should do what I tell you to see your babies.” Jackie then said, “Britney, your parents can help you find a psychiatrist. In her declaration to the court in requesting a restraining order against him, Britney's mom, Lynne Spears not only accuses Lutfi of drugging her daughter, but she also makes many other shocking allegations.

We have spoken to Lutfi on the phone a few times, and a lot of the things she claims Osama has said sound like DIRECT QUOTES he's told us too!

Here are some of the more damaging allegations.

Lynne: "Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan, her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids."

“He then told me, ‘I’m the one who spends 24/7 with your daughter. I sleep in cars outside her house so she can’t leave.’ Sam then said, ‘You people throw everyone under the bus. If you don’t listen to me, I’m going to make your name shit in the papers.’

Lynne added that Lutfi "told me that if he weren't in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself. Then he said to me, 'If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave."

Restraining Order Tells Britney Horror Story

OK! has obtained a copy of the restraining order filed last week against Britney Spears' close "friend" Sam Lutfi by the singer's mother Lynne Spears, and the story told therein alleges a bizarre world of drugs and mind-control.

In the 14-page document, Lynne alleges that Sam not only not ground up pills to ply the singer with medication to keep her docile, but also "cut her home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers," was verbally abusive and that he sees himself as the one truly in charge of Brit's life.

Per her sworn declaration in the restraining order, Lynne claims that Sam recently told her, "You'd better learn that I control everything. I control Howard Grossman, Britney's business manager. I control her attorneys and the security guards at the gate. They don't listen to Britney, they listen to me."

Sam also allegedly warned Lynne that "if he weren't in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself," adding ominously "if you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave."

Speaking of medication, when Britney told Sam she didn't like the pills she was being given, he allegedly responded, "If I told you to take 10 pills a day, you should do what I tell you to see your babies."

According to Lynne, when she flew from Louisiana to L.A. on Jan. 28 to stage an intervention with her daughter, Sam had unleashed an angry tirade on Britney, calling her "an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore... that she does not deserve her kids."

Lynne's declaration also claims that Sam "disabled all of Britney's cars." Brit's mom then states that Sam is in league with some members of the paparazzi, who according to Lynne, "treated [Sam] like a general."

Lutfi allegedly showed his jealousy toward Brit's current boy-toy Adnan Ghalib by trying to convince the pop star that her photog beau is actually a homosexual.

For his part, Adnan told Lynne that Sam hides Britney's phones and tells her he lost them. Even worse, Adnan claims that Sam would hide the singer's favorite pet dog London so he can pretend later to find the pooch and "act like her savior."

He must stay 250 yards away from the singer and the UCLA Medical Center, as well as the homes of her parents, her siblings, her children and the singer's residences.
