Days after tabloids published fake reports about Jason Trawick's alleged physical abuse of girlfriend Britney Spears, the content pop singer and her beau of nearly two years were a world away from Hollywood: at a private, $5,000 per-night villa in Conchas Chinas, Mexico, as revealed in the new Us Weekly, out now.
The occasion? Spears' 29th birthday Dec. 2 -- and her former agent Trawick, 39, surprised the singer with a red-velvet cake shipped from L.A. and much more.
The happy duo shrugged off the false abuse rumor for their luxe Puerto Vallarta trip. "They did not allow it to get them down," an insider tells Us.
In fact, Spears tells Us exclusively: "My birthday weekend away with Jason was amazing. Best birthday of my life!"

Britney Spears Gets BMW at Her Sober B-Day Soiree

Sounds like Britney Spears had herself a very happy birthday indeed!
The singer, who turned 28 yesterday, received a shiny new white BMW convertible with a ribbon on it and balloons inside during a party at her Calabasas home.
Birthday girl Brit was in good spirits, a source tell E! News. She was dressed sexily, in a blue velvet blazer, shorts and fishnet stockings.
She had a cake presented to her around 10 p.m., but there was no champagne toast, since no alcohol was served at the soiree, the insider tells us.
"It was really mellow," says the source.
So who was on hand to help her celebrate?
BF Jason Trawick (who went shopping with her earlier), dad Jamie, her two boys, manager Larry Rudolph, as well as some backup dancers and friends.
If you didn't get an invite, don't feel bad. Less than 20 people attended.
No word on where her mom and sister were.

Literally.
To tie into the release of her latest album Circus, NYC hot spot Tenjune was transformed into a giant circus tent, complete with with a hot dog stand and popcorn and cotton candy machines emblazoned with the pop star's name and even a man on stilts and jugglers.
Outside the club, a huge screen projected circus imagery.
Spears - who had taped a speech to air on the upcoming Rockefeller Center New York City Tree Lighting Ceremony special earlier in the day - arrived in a low-cut Roberto Cavalli cocktail dress that showed a lot of cleavage.
She smiled throughout the night as she mingled with guests, including her mother Lynne Spears, her manager Larry Rudolph, Lance Bass, Jeremy Piven, Robert Buckley and Ciara.
As she was presented with a cake -- featuring sparkling candles that tied into the bash's circus theme -- Barry Weiss, CEO and president of Jive Records, told the singer, "We are so proud and so happy to be a part of your life. Looking at your two boys today, it's an amazing experience."
So what's Spears' birthday wish?
"A million more wishes! Definitely!" she told Entertainment Tonight.
Added pal Bass, "I'm so proud of her! The album's amazing. I love when people do themes for their albums. A circus is a lot of fun."

...And To All A Good Night
Just got back from Britney's album release/birthday party!!! First went to dinner at Buddakan with my friends from Jive... and yes, I was thrilled 'cause it's the same Buddakan from the Sex and the City movie. (Before you start pokin' fun, remember: Britney likes SATC, too. Ahem, Glamour article, anyone?)Then we headed over to Brit's party at one of her favorite NYC hotspots, Tenjune. I gotta say, Britney has some hot-ass friends. (Besides moi, of course.) Heidi Klum, Ciara, Jeremy Piven, Josh Lucas — they were all there to support our girl! None were as hot as Brit though... she looked stunning. Simply gorgeous. She seemed a little nervous as she took her spot up front, biting her lower lip and fidgeting with her hands in typical Britney fashion. (It's one of the many reasons we love her... she's so endearing.) But Brit instantly relaxed as Jive President Barry Weiss approached to wish her a happy birthday and a congrats for 10 years of success. Britney looked truly blessed... and happy! Lord knows she deserves it. All in all, it was a perfect end to a perfect day. Happy birthday, Britney, and here's to many more years of success, happiness and all of your dreams coming true.
