BRITNEY SPEARS is reportedly set to add a string of dates to the U.K. leg of her CIRCUS tour - after her dad JAMIE urged her to perform more concerts.

The pop superstar is allegedly considering more gigs after Jamie pointed out her popularity is currently so high she should try to cash in.

But the Toxic hitmaker is said to be resisting the plan to increase her British road trip as she is struggling with the gruelling schedule.

Spears' father was made conservator of her affairs after her 2008 meltdown which led to the singer being taken to hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

A family friend tells U.K. magazine Reveal, "Jamie can't physically force Britney to get on stage and do more concerts, but he does have nearly all the power. He controls the purse strings and can make things very difficult for Britney if he chooses to.

"He gets to dictate her schedule - where she goes, who she sees, who she doesn't see. He's in charge of everything to do with her life. It's a battle of wills over who will win - but while her dad remains in charge, he'll be laying down the law."

Britney Attends Cousin's Wedding in Louisiana

After making a big splash in the Bahamas the day before, Britney Spears emerged Saturday in Amite, La., where she made a low-key appearance as an "honorary" bridesmaid at the wedding of her cousin, Laura Lynne Covington.

"When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful," says one wedding guest. "She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected.”

The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church, the same church where the funeral for Covington's mother Sandra, who died of ovarian cancer, took place in January 2007.

Later, at the wedding reception, the pop star hung out with her sister and fellow bridesmaid, Jamie Lynn, who toted baby Maddie, and "sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew," says the guest.

"There was no fanfare," noted the guest. "With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride's day."

Aww … it really looks like everyone is having a great time, especially our dear Britney. Just when you thought she couldn’t look any happier … she goes on vacation and looks even happier. Perhaps some of her new happiness has to do with the company she’s been keeping (and I ain’t referring to her family). Earlier this week, we did see photos of Britney and her agent Jason Trawick enjoying some alonetime as they strolled the beach together … this new batch of photos includes images of Britwick continuing to look all “friendly” with one another. Now … I know that agents are supposed to care for their clients but Jason seems to be going above and beyond the call of duty. I, for one, love it. Jason Trawick seems a very stable, very mature man and I’m sure his influence has been very good for Britney these past few months. Long live Britwick, I say!! I love the pic of the two of them in their inner tube … they do make a cute couple, don’t you think?

“The boys pulled down the silk drapes and broke an expensive vase in the living room,” a hotel employee blabbed to celebrity gossip columnist Shelby Loosch this week. “They also left crayon marks all over the walls.
”
And it gets worse, as Loosch writes, “…One of the boys messed in his pants while in the pool — leaving other swimmers horrified.”

Keri Hilson: Britney Is The Most Dedicated Artist I've Worked With

During a recent interview, Keri Hilson, the mastermind behind ‘Gimme More’, revealed that Britney is by far the most dedicated artist she has ever worked with. According to Keri, Britney, who was heavily pregnant with Jayden, ‘was the size of a house’ but would still spend hours on end in the recording studio laying down tracks for her album ‘Blackout’:

“I don’t know if I could be as dedicated as she was. “Having to stand up for hours in her condition and sing? I never would have guessed how normal she is.”

Keri goes on to say that Britney would use her time in the studio as an “escape” from the intense media scrutiny she was put under at the time:

“She was catching so much hell from all corners, but she left it all outside the studio and came in ready to work.”

It appears that she is resting up as much as she can before she has to start up her tour again and head over to London, England for an 8-night residency at the O2 Arena, followed by a few dates in other parts of Europe. Britney's Bills as Hefty as Ever

Just in case you were worried that Britney Spears couldn't possibly afford to pay all those legal bills and lead her usual swanky lifestyle—fear not.

Sure, Spears' estate shelled out more than $3 million in legal fees between Feb. 1, 2008 and Dec. 31, including the $625,000 she was ordered to hand over to Kevin Federline for his family court expenses.

But she had plenty left over, considering she racked up bills of $447,634 for security; $49,387 for home repairs and maintenance; $105,000 to rent her Malibu digs; and $178,818 for childcare.

Other expenses that qualify Spears' status as rich: $188,556 on assistants and other employees; $285,594 in mortgage payments; $5,998 for "decorations"; and $1.06 million in "miscellaneous business expenses."

All told, Spears spent upward of $10 million during those 11 months.

It's good to be the pop princess.

Britney Spears' conservators filed legal papers today explaining Britney's finances right down to the last penny -- and let's just say she's got a lot of pennies.

From March to December Brit blew $447,633.69 on security alone. Six months of household repairs and maintenance ran her $49,387.22.

Britney also spent $625,000 to pay Kevin Federline's lawyers, as ordered by the courts. In the docs, the payments are referred to as "Federline Fees."

K-Fed ain't doin to bad either -- from March to December, Britney kicked over $178,818.00 in child support payments.

Grand total expenses for Brit between Feb. and December -- $10,116,678.23.

But the best part: Britney definitely felt the Christmas spirit -- she spent $3400 just to hang lights.
