“Britney is amazing,” Beanz told Us.

Though Britney continues to battle things out in the courtroom over her child custody issues and the conservatorship she is under, none of the drama plays out when the two are working, according to Beanz.

“Everyone has personal stuff, but a true professional doesn’t bring it into the studio,” he said.

Britney And Bryan Spears Emerge In Kentwood, LA

Yesterday was the glorious day that a new member of the Spears family was brought forth into the world and, natch, all members of the Spears family rallied around young Jamie Lynn Spears to lend their support as she birthed her baby. TMZ reports that altho all immediate members of the Spears family were on hand at the hospital at the time of baby Maddie Briann’s birth, only Grandmama Lynne Spears was in the operating room with JL as she gave birth. They also report that new Papa Casey Aldridge was so nervous about holding his newborn daughter that he feared he’d drop her. Ain’t that precious? Anyways, both Britney and Bryan Spears were at the hospital for the birth of Maddie Briann … but shortly after the baby was born they each made a beeline for the convenience store to pick up snacks (or chewin’ tobacco? It’s unclear).

Life and Style magazine reports that Grandpappy Jamie Spears gave them a quote after Maddie Briann was born (When asked how he feels about the new addition to the family, the new grandpa tells Life & Style, “We’re thrilled, we’re all absolutely thrilled.”) and also report the baby was born around 8am by C-section. People magazine, on the other hand, got quotes from other, more removed, members of the Spears & Aldridge families, friends and townfolk:

As you may imagine, Britney Spears talked to no one. We’ll prolly have to wait until the OK! magazine coverstory on the birth of Maddie Briann comes out to get any decent inside information from the core Spears family … and that is fine by me. I hope Jamie Lynn and Casey are able to enjoy the first days and weeks with their newborn daughter without having to deal with the press or the paps. They must be insanely relieved that their baby has arrived at long last … I hope they are able to take the time to enjoy their new family away from prying eyes.

Lynne Spears may be a brand-spankin' new grandma but that doesn't mean her motherly duties are taking a backseat.

Backing daughter Britney's bid to dismiss a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid license in a 10-month-old hit-and-run case, the Lynne Spears filed a declaration in Los Angeles Superior Court continuing to maintain the singer's faultlessness.

And Spears' attorney Michael Flanagan told E! News there was a simple reason why Lynne, and not Britney, filed the paperwork.

"Britney is not really competent to provide a declaration," he said.

"Plus, if I provide a declaration by Britney, then the prosecution has the right to cross-examine. I don't want to give them the right to cross-examine her. And they cannot call her to the stand, because this is a criminal case, and she has a privilege not to be called to the stand."

In the declaration, filed as part of Flanagan's Wednesday motion to dismiss the charge, the elder Spears offered a rather convincing rationale as to why her daughter did not have a California license when she bumped into a parked car last August: She doesn't consider herself a California resident.

"I am informed and believe and based thereon allege that she was unaware at the time that any damage had occurred at the time of [the accident," the document reads. "Britney was totally unaware of any legal reason why it was necessary for her to have a California license."

Lynne goes on to say that while her daughter "has spent a majority of her time over the last five years in the state of California," she only did so out of necessity both in part for her work and "primarily with respect to a custody dispute currently ongoing."

"Although Britney has owned her house in Beverly Hills for more than a year, she has also owned her Louisiana residence for eight years...Britney's sister Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney's father Jamie Spears, and I, all possess a Louisiana driver's license and consider ourselves residents of Louisiana despite the fact that each of us spend a considerable amount of time in California."

While Louisiana roots apparently run deep in the Spears' household, Lynne still pointed out that, once her daughter was informed of her need for a state license, she wasted no time in hightailing it to the DMV.

"Britney still intends to return to Louisiana, but she has acquiesced in the [court's] position that she have a California driver license."

Case closed? If only.

The next hearing on the matter is set for Aug. 11.

Retreating to her hometown of Kentwood, Jamie Lynn laid low for the rest of her pregnancy, preparing for her summer arrival and getting engaged to Casey, 19. The two recently purchased their first home in Liberty, Miss., where they plan on raising Maddie.

In May, she hosted an intimate baby shower that reunited her with Britney, 26, for the first time since October. Big sis even gave the expectant mom some motherly words of wisdom.

"She told me, 'There are going to be some long nights, but it is completely worth it,'" Jamie Lynn said.

Now that her daughter has arrived, the actress wants to devote all her time and attention to her bundle of joy. Everything else — including a wedding and her career — can wait.
