Britney Spears Speaks Out on TV Role:

Britney Spears is glad to be back on TV.
"Working at How I Met Your Mother has been so terrific," Spears said in a statement obtained by Entertainment Tonight.
The singer is scheduled to play Abby, a dorky receptionist, on the March 24 episode.
"Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful and Abby is such a fun girl to play," Spears said. "I'm having a blast!"
She filmed scenes yesterday in L.A. Her mom Lynne was spotted visiting her trailer.
"Britney’s not playing a version of herself," Mother creator Craig Thomas tells Us. "I think that’s part of what appealed to her."
He said she agreed to the part just one day after reading the script.
It is Spears' first return to the small screen since a 2006 cameo on Will & Grace.

Lutfi Speaks Out About Britney Spears' Condition

Britney Spears manager and friend, Sam Lutfi, has spoken out about Spears' hospitalization in the early hours of Thursday morning, saying that the popstar is "not a happy camper" but is doing well.
The 26-year-old was taken to UCLA medical center on the advisement of her psychiatrist, who she has been seeing daily – under the condition of a court ruling – in order to have her visitation rights with her two sons restored.
Various internet reports state that Spears attempted suicide on Thursday, however, according to authorities, the call that was made to them did not mention a suicide attempt.
Spears is currently on a 5150 hold for 72 hours – which is a code used to describe patients who pose a threat to herself and others – with Lutfi telling Entertainment Tonight that, "She's doing fine right now. Britney is fine, she's calm, not a happy camper, but I'm hoping she gets the treatment necessary. I love and support her all the way."

Britney's Pap Pal: Our Relationship Is 'Far From Over'

The same day that is wife filed for separation, photogapher Adnan Ghalib took to the airways Tuesday to discuss his relationship with Britney Spears.
Despite reports of a split – and seemingly false claims that Spears had taken out a restraining order against him – Ghalib told Entertainment Tonight and The Insider that the relationship is "far from over." (Indeed, the two were spotted together that night.)
He also insisted that he wasn't paid for the two-part interview and that he didn't get involved with Spears as a way to sell pictures. "No, never," he said. "In time I think people will understand that."
Asked if he wants to marry Spears, the paparazzo, 35, responded, "I'd be lying if I said no."
Scandal Prone
Ghalib – who said their relationship "turned romantic" before Christmas – also took the opportunity to weigh in on the series of scandals that have plagued the pop star, 26, in recent weeks.
On her hospitalization following a Jan. 3 standoff with police: "She didn't understand why she was taken to the hospital," he said. "She didn't feel the need to be there." As for the photographs of Spears laughing as she was wheeled out on a gurney, "I think she was just afraid of what was going to happen. It doesn't mean you are crazy."
On Spears being photographed buying a pregnancy test: "She has a very maternal instinct," Ghalib said of their recent Rite Aid run. (Photos of the trip were sold by his own photo agency, FinalPixx.) "She was feeling a lot of things she said she felt when she was pregnant. I think she was hoping she was pregnant with my child."
On losing visitation rights with her kids Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1: "Her primary focus is on re-establishing a relationship with [them]," he said. "She doesn't talk about a strategy to get them back. That's something that's very private to her. She loves those kids – it pains her a lot "
On Britney's mental state: "She is not crazy at all," he said, despite reports claiming that she is bipolar and has suffered from postpartum depression. (Some have even suggested she may have multiple personalities.) He also dismissed talk that Spears wrote a suicide note before her January meltdown. "She never has suicidal tendencies," he said. "You've got to understand the love she has for her kids outweighs anything else."

Wife of Britney Spears’ Paparazzo Beau Files For Divorce
The following italicized article is taken from www.usmagazine.com:
In the papers filed January 18, she Azlynn Elizabeth Berry cites irreconcilable differences for their split.
She lists their wedding date as Dec. 18, 2003.
They have no children, but Berry is asking for spousal support.
Meanwhile, Adnan Ghalib spoke out to Entertainment Tonight about meeting Spears for the first time.
“I believe it was December 20, and there was an aggressive chase and at a stop light in Hollywood, she got out of her car and got into mine, and I think that’s what made the difference,” he said.
While Ghalib claims to ET that he is not being paid directly for conducting an interview about Spears, a source tells Usmagazine.com that his agency, FinalPixx, is brokering the deal and that Ghalib will receive a cut.
