Justin Supported Britney Through Rehab

The following italicized article is from www.digitalspy.co.uk:

Justin Timberlake supported ex-girlfriend Britney Spears through rehab, according to reports.

It was claimed that Timberlake had little contact with the singer, but friends of Spears have now insisted that the opposite is true.

"Justin has denied all along that he was in touch with Britney, but that was him being a gentleman," a source told MSNBC.

"He was in touch with her and supportive all through rehab - there’s no bad blood and he’s been open to helping her when she was ready and responsible all along."

Spears is said to be keen to work with some of the people who helped her achieve success at the start of her career, with the insider adding: "Britney’s serious about her comeback now - the people who supported her when she was at the top of her game have always been willing to come back when she was serious and ready."

The popstar released new single 'Womanizer' on Monday and scooped two gongs at last night's MTV EMAs.

Larry Rudolph Breaks His Silence on Britney

The following italicized article is from www.ok-magazine.com:

Larry Rudolph, the one-time manager of Britney Spears who she famously ditched and publically blamed for pushing her into rehab, is speaking out about his newly mended relationship with the singer.

In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn't seen Britney in more than a year — until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever.

"After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn't talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she's doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she's in a great place right now."

OK! was first to exclusively report that the two were communicating again. As for a Britney comeback, Rudolph says, "People love her. They really love her. People understand what she's been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she'll get it together. And I think she'll have a huge career again. I think she's going to make the biggest comeback in history."

If loyalty counts for anything in the entertainment business, Rudolph wins the prize. But Britney's one-time manager has a lot more on his plate these days than the recovering pop star.

Rudolph is set to debut his own reality TV show, Rock the Cradle, which premieres April 3 on MTV. The show is centered around the children of legendary music icons who battle it out on stage.

But Rudolph says don't expect another American Idol. "Each week is going to be different," he says. "The first week is going to be, they have to sing a song that best represents their relationship with their parents, which is very interesting."

EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Manager: Britney Spears "Is on the Right Path"

The following italicized article is from www.usmagazine.com:

Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph confirms to Usmagazine.com that he has met the singer and says she's "doing great.

"I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being," Rudolph said.

He would not comment further, explaining, "this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing."

Last week, a source tells Us that Spears met with Rudolph, who is credited for discovering her and managing her career for 9 years. (They stopped talking last February after she blamed him for forcing her into rehab.)

"People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her," a friend of the Spears family told Us. "He's the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise."

Rudolph is currently producing the MTV show Rock the Cradle, which debuts April 3.

Britney Spears Reunites With Former Manager Larry Rudolph

The following italicized article is from www.accesshollywood.com:

Fresh off her successful appearance on CBS's "How I Met Your Mother," there is yet another sign Britney Spears could be returning to top of her game. The pop star has reunited with her former manager, Larry Rudolph.

"It's true," a source close to Britney told E! News. "They are working together."

Britney and Larry had a rollercoaster of a professional relationship that ended with Britney publicly blaming him for pressuring her to enter rehab, according E!.

Larry is credited with taking Britney from just a small-town former-Disney actor and turning her into the world famous pop star that she is.

The duo, who worked together for almost nine years, parted ways around the time Britney married now ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Jamie Spears, Britney father and co-conservator, has been an outspoken supporter of Larry, according to E!. It is not known if Jamie was involved in the reunion of Britney and her former manager.

Tune into Access Hollywood Wednesday for a sit-down with Larry Rudolph, where he talks about Britney and his new MTV reality show "Rock The Cradle."

Britney to Rudolph - Hit Me Baby One Mo' Time

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

Britney Spears wants to go back to the days of the golden oldies.

Sources tells us Brit has buried the hatchet and wants to re-hire former manager, Larry Rudolph, the guy who was the mastermind behind her blazing career. Brit wanted to tar and feather Rudolph before she 86'd him last year, blaming him in part for what she felt was a bogus stint at the Promises rehab joint.

We're told nothing has been finalized, but Brit now wants him back. She can't hire and fire herself, but we're told the conservators probably will do what Brit wants, partly because they realize the conservatorship won't last forever and when it's over they don't want Brit to undo all the decisions.

Actually, it's a good idea. Sounds like Brit gets it -- kinda, sorta.

Britney, Larry Back in Business

The following italicized article is from www.eonline.com:

Britney Spears is relying on an old friend to give her a new lease on her professional life.

The pop star is bringing erstwhile manager Larry Rudolph back into her inner circle.

The duo, whose relationship has undergone well-chronicled ups and downs, most recently with the pair parting ways after Spears publicly blamed him for forcing her into rehab, is apparently back in business.

"It's true," a source close to the pop star told E! News. "They are working together."

It's unclear when Rudolph reentered the picture, but Spears' career has already been on the upswing, particularly in the wake of her fairly well-received, ratings-grabbing guest-starring turn on How I Met Your Mother last week.

Rudolph is the eagle-eyed manager credited with discovering Spears and crafting her career from small-town Louisiana ingenue to mouse-ear-wearing Disney star to international pop icon. They were together for roughly nine years, ultimately splitting around the time Spears wed Kevin Federline.

Just one day after her 2006 split from K-Fed, however, Rudolph was back on her arm. Their second professional go-round was much less lengthy—and successful—than their first, ultimately disintegrating in early 2007 after Spears let loose a series of caustic on-camera rants about Rudolph being the reason she was tricked into entering rehab and for turning her family against her.

Jamie Spears, however, has always been a public Rudolph supporter. While Papa Spears is currently holding (very tightly) the reins of his daughter's life, it's unclear whether he had any part in reforging the partnership.

Regardless, Rudolph's resumes his position after succeeding who might be Spears' most infamous manager to date, former pal Sam Lutfi.

OK! Exclusive: Britney Makes Nice With Former Manager

The following italicized article is from www.ok-magazine.com:

As Britney Spears continues to strive to get her personal and professional lives back in order, OK! has learned she's turned to a familiar face for help — former manager Larry Rudolph. Though the pair had parted company a year ago, sources confirm exclusively to OK! that the "Toxic" songstress has once again been taken under Larry's wing.

Larry and Brit share a long and bumpy history. He was the visionary who discovered the young star Britney and shepherded her career from teen pop tart to international superstar. And when her life began to spiral dangerously out of control in the weeks and months following her Oct. 2006 divorce from Kevin Federline, it was Larry who Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, turned to for help getting her into rehab.

After her brief stint at the Promises clinic in Malibu, Brit went public with her ill-feelings toward Larry, chastising him on camera in a bizarre, disjointed rant, for what she viewed as siding with her folks against her.

However, Brit's dad has always been open about his positive feelings toward Larry, even publicly thanking Larry for his efforts. And now Jamie, who has continued to think the world of Larry both as a manager and as a friend who has Britney's best interests at heart, has finally convinced Britney to let him take over the reins of her recently resurgent career.

Wacky Attorney Still Claims He's Britney's Lawyer

The following italicized article is taken from www.ok-magazine.com:

Despite his inability to meet standard court deadlines and a federal judge's ruling against his claims, Jon Eardley, the attorney who says he represents Britney Spears, vowed Wednesday to continue his fight."We have only just begun the fight,"

Eardley said in a statement. "There is nothing that will stop me from dismantling, if necessary, this oppressive and unjust conservatorship."

On Feb. 1, a California court appointed Brit's father, Jamie Spears, conservator over her personal and business affairs. A court approved attorney, Andrew Wallet, was named co-conservator and another attorney, Samuel Ingham, was appointed as the singer's lawyer.

Eardley still claims Britney, 26, hired him on Feb. 12; however, lawyers for Jamie Spears argued that Eardley's claims were invalid because under the conservatorship, Britney is not legally able to hire her own counsel.

Yesterday, Federal District Judge Philip Gutierrez ruled the state court's appointment of Sam Ingham precluded Eardley from acting as Britney's lawyer. Judge Gutierrez also ruled the case would remain in state court, not federal court as Eardley sought, because Eardley had no authority to move it.

Since the conservatorship was established, Jamie Spears has managed to quiet his daughter's usual out-of-control lifestyle which, over the past year, has spiraled downward into a whirlwind of craziness, including a stint in rehab, British accents, pink wings and, ultimately, Britney's hospitalization and the loss of custody and visitation rights with her sons.

Eardley claims the conservatorship violates Britney's civil rights and that her conservators are not acting in her best interest.

The conservatorship has been extended on two occasions and remains in effect until March 10.

It All Began With A Head-Shaving

The following italicized article is taken from www.pagesix.com:

It was the electric razor buzz heard ’round the world. A year ago on Saturday — on February 16, 2007 — just days after a 24-hour stint at Crossroads rehab center, Britney Spears marched into a California hair salon and announced that she wanted to shave her head. We thought that she’d hit an all-time low back then, but it turned out that Britney had a lot further to fall. And here’s how she unraveled over the next 12 months.

After the head-shaving, the newly bald Brit rounded out the evening by getting two new tattoos. Days later she checked into rehab again, this time at the Promises treatment facility — only to leave less than a day later. Then came the bizarre incident on February 21, in which she attacked a photographer’s car with an umbrella.

The following day she was back in rehab, this time for a month, but Britney’s troubles were far from over. The next year would find the singer trotting out an assortment of odd wigs and hair extensions, often wearing short dresses without panties. She gave new meaning to the word "May flowers" last May when photographs surfaced showing her posing topless with little more than flowers covering her nipples. One hot summer day she pulled over on the side of the road, stripped down to her bra and panties and jumped into the ocean in front of a group of photographers.

It seemed as if the fallen pop star never forgave her parents for forcing her into treatment and refused to let them see their grandsons. In June, she even went so far as to serve her mother, Lynne, with a letter instructing her to stay away from her grandchildren.

Fans hoped for a comeback last fall with the release of her album Blackout and the announcement that she would be opening the MTV Video Music Awards. But Britney’s performance fell flat when the starlet showed up onstage looking dazed and lipsynched and stumbled her way through the song "Gimme More."

Her odd behavior culminated with her losing custody of her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline in the beginning of October. Even Britney’s neighbors turned against her. While out with her sister Jamie Lynn in October, a woman came up to Britney and made it clear that her presence wasn’t wanted. "Nobody wants you in this neighborhood Britney!" she shouted. "You are making this neighborhood very unsafe!"

Jamie Lynn lunged at the woman and screamed in her face, "Then move the f*** out of it!"

Later that month, Britney got her lips plumped and then ran over a photographer’s foot on the way out of the doctor’s office (and didn’t bother to check and see if he was OK).

Along the way there was a string of random men in the singer's life. She had her heart broken early in the year when her ex-boyfriend of six weeks, model Isaac Cohen, sold details of their sex life to a tabloid.

She hooked up with Mindfreak illusionist Criss Angel. She also had a brief dalliance with bodyguard Daimon Shippen, who had caught her older son, Sean Preston, the year before when Britney stumbled on the street and nearly dropped him.

She took on a man named Sam Lutfi as her manager and he quickly became her confidant, rarely leaving her side. She began dating married photographer Adnan Ghalib and brought Chad Hardcastle and paparazzo Filipe Teixeira into her entourage.

The new year brought even more drama. Britney started off 2008 with a three-hour custody standoff at her home. Eventually police had to be called — she was taken to the hospital via ambulance and spent a few days in the psych ward. After her release, she fled to Mexico with Adnan. But by January 31 she was back in the hospital for a week, undergoing mental evaluation. Over the past few weeks, her father, Jamie, has been granted conservatorship over her estate, prompting a turf war with Sam.

The next year is sure to bring more custody battles and theatrics in the life of Britney Spears, but there is some light at the end of the tunnel: She has nowhere to go but up.

Bald Britney -- Seems Like Just Yesterday

The following italicized article is taken from www.tmz.com:

Has it been a year already? Time flies in the life of an out-of-control popwreck -- and last year at this time, the biggest buzz involved hairless (on her head) Britney.

Shaved Spears had just left a Caribbean rehab facility after a measly 24 hours inside -- revealing to the world that her public angst could be matched by no other celeb.

What a year it's been, y'all.

What a year! And it's also weird to realise that now, after a year, it seems that Britney is finally slowing down!

Britney: "More Focused Than Ever"

The following italicized article is from www.ok-magazine.com:

Could Britney Spears be turning things around? For more than a year, the pop star's career comeback has been completely overshadowed by her personal problems — divorce, custody battles, public breakdowns, rehab and hospital visits — but those who have watched the singer rehearse for her latest video tell OK! that she's working harder than ever.

"She's incredibly focused now," explains Robert Baker, owner of Millennium Dance Studios, where Brit has been refining her dance moves for the upcoming video shoot for her song "Hot as Ice." Baker has been in the studio with the 26-year-old mother of two during her rehearsals and says that the woman he's seen kicking up her heels is a "whole new Britney."

The dance routine for "Hot as Ice" will be one of Britney's famous chair numbers — the kind she made famous in her video for her hit "Stronger." And it's rumored that the now-infamous "nip-slip" caught on camera during her rehearsal Sunday night might actually play a part in the "Hot as Ice" video — though it's unclear how much skin Brit intends on showing.

Of course, Sunday night's dance rehearsal wasn't Britney's only sexy stopover of the evening. Before heading to rehearsal the singer and pal Sam Lutfi had stopped by the Hustler Store on L.A.'s Sunset Strip, where unlike past visits when Brit picked up revealing clothes, she left with only a necklace — and a sandwich.

Following the rehearsal, Brit and Sam joined her cousin Alli Sims and a friend for a late-night showing of 27 Dresses. Eyewitnesses who spotted Britney leaving the theater tell OK! that the singer was teary-eyed as she left the theater.

Pap Gives A Interview About Britney

So one of the paps recently gave a interview to a important Brazilian magazine. His name is Filipe Teixeira and he is from Brazil.

Here's what he said:

VEJA Magazine: How's the relationship between Britney and the paps?

FT: Usually, 30 paps follow her. Some are trustworthy some aren't, and I am one of the trustworthy ones. Sometimes at night she just appears just she can be photographed, so she can help us out. Sometimes we show her the pics, and she deletes the ones she doesn't want.

VEJA Magazine: How is her house?

FT: It is huge. Britney takes care of it all by herself. She doesn't have housekeepers. Everything is elegant and very organized. I did not see any clothes laying around on the floor. She has a lot of pics of her kids around the house, but doesn't talk about them a lot. When we ask her about them, she gets sad.

VEJA Magazine: Do you think she is normal?

FT: Yes! She doesn't go out to drink, it has been proved that she doesn't do drugs, doesn't drive under the influence. The reason people say she is crazy is because she goes to the supermarket wearing pajamas or eats an hamburger in public. Things that every American does.

VEJA Magazine: But she shaved her head, hit a car with an umbrella...

FT: She had a lot of problems, she had just divorced, was afraid to lose her kids. She just exploded.

VEJA Magazine: Do you know her new bf Adnan Ghalib?

FT: Everybody knows why he is with her. He just wants exclusive pictures of her.
