Britney Spears is still hard at work on her planned upcoming album (which, thus far, has no release date scheduled … tho, my guess is that it will be released this Fall) as she was spotted making her way out of a recording studio here in SoCal yesterday afternoon. Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, accompanied Brit Brit to the studio and was spotted in her company yesterday as well … behold: Firstly, it’s nice to see Mama Lynne is back in town … I’m certain both Britney and her young sons are happy to have Lynne in town. Secondly, I am THRILLED to know that Britney is still working feverishly on her new album. I’ve been hearing many rumors about the upcoming disc concerning which producers she’s working with, what the sound of the album may be … it’s all very exciting. Thirdly, I just gotta love a woman who shares my love for McDonald’s. All in all … I’m lovin’ these pics!!

Britney Spears looked a bit pouty and bored as she took a ride with her bodyguard through Los Angeles today (May 19).
Meanwhile, Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirms that a sequel to the Madonna episode is being planned and will “probably” be part of the next season.
He tells USA Today that he is in talks to make a Britney-themed episode.
“We love Britney,” he says. “We’re talking to Britney. I think you have to be careful on the show not to do too many tribute episodes. But she certainly has a huge body of work to pull from and the kids grew up with her so that is a consideration. They love her.”
Break the Ice is a blog dedicated to the one and only, Miss Britney Spears. So original, right? I decided to create this blog because I was getting sick of going to fans sites that didn't update as frequently as I wanted. Our goal here at Break the Ice is to bring you ALL Britney news ALL the time. Tom and Cool are the administrators and Beautiful Sinner, Joel, Tekkie, Johnny, Juicy UK, Marcus and Jenna Pixie are updaters. Together, we form the Break the Ice team!
