Kevin Federline Makes Fashion Week Appearance

The following italicized article is taken from www.usmagazine.com:

Kevin Federline made his first public appearance Friday since Britney’s release from the hospital on February 6.

Sporting a suit and Mohawk, Federline arrived with his bodyguard, Big Mike, at the Marc Jacobs runway show at the Armory in New York City. The former backup dancer rushed to his seat just before the show began and refused to answer any questions.

"Kevin and Big Mike went backstage to thank Marc. They were there very briefly. They were then whisked out the front door and did not speak to anyone," an eyewitness told Usmagazine.com.

Also in attendance at show were Victoria Beckham—who sat with actress Selma Blair— and Grey’s Anatomy’s star Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery.

Grandmother Lynne Spears took over parenting duties. She arrived to Federline's Tarzana home around 1:30 p.m. PST and spent the afternoon with Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney Regains Custody...Of Her Dogs

The following italicized article is taken from www.eonline.com:

It's a little early to predict a Britney comeback, but there are some positive signs.

She called in a stylist on Thursday (so long, crappy weave!), and now we've learned Brit's been reunited with her three dogs.

Earlier this week, E! News exclusively reported that Brit's $3,000 Yorkie, London, and two other dogs, V and Baby, had been placed in Alli Sims' custody while Spears was, um otherwise indisposed.

But Alli's role on pooch patrol was fairly short-lived—she had the dogs returned to Britney’s Summit home on Wednesday, shortly after the troubled pop tart was released from the hospital.

Now, it's Alli who's been placed on the no-visitation list, per Mama and Papa Spears. A source tells E! News, though, that Britney is still in contact with her pal, adding, “Once Jamie’s conservatorship is lifted, Britney and Alli will be hanging out again.”

That's great news. Now, let's get to work on a reunion with Brit's actual flesh 'n' blood—Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney Shops For Shades

Britney Spears shops for sunglasses today in West Hollywood.

After a wild Wednesday, the 26-year-old singer spent a quiet Thursday at home with a hairdresser — to no avail, it seems. Here's hoping Brit had better luck with her retail therapy.

Britney (Over?)Protected

The following italicized article is taken from www.x17online.com:

Brit was escorted to Millennium Dance Studio in North Hollywood this afternoon by a new bodyguard, presumably hired by her parents.

Hey, I'm sure Sam's happy for the break and frankly, Britney needs a bodyguard. Let's just hope he doesn't sell her out six months from now, selling his story to the magazines ...

But get this, on the way home, around 8 pm, when the car stopped at a red light, Britney tried to get out of the car!!! Our photographers overheard her saying, "I want to eat!" The bodyguard hit the gas before she had time to get out. We'll see the video tomorrow ...

You think Britney's ready to get back into dancing? Maybe it's good therapy ..

Britney's Manager On Way Out, Attorney Wants To Quit

The following italicized article is taken from www.people.com:

In a shake-up, Britney Spears' business manager is close to being fired and her divorce attorney has asked the court for permission to drop her as a client.

Howard Grossman, the business manager, tells PEOPLE he is aware he was the subject of a closed-door hearing Thursday but he has no idea why a temporary conservator's motion to give Spears's father the right to fire him was granted.

Court papers show that Grossman was served Thursday with orders to surrender "all documents, records and assets relating to Britney Spears."

"The only thing I will say is my reputation speaks for itself," Grossman says. "I couldn't tell you why they chose this path."

Also, divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope tells PEOPLE he filed papers Friday asking permission to be released as Spears's attorney in her custody battle with Kevin Federline.

A hearing will be held on the matter on March 10. The high-profile divorce attorney had filed similar papers several weeks ago, but retracted them.

"We filed paper asking to be relieved, and hopefully they will find someone to replace us," Trope tells PEOPLE. "I'm not at liberty to say more at this time."
