Britney to Record a Duet with GaGa

The following italicized article is from www.dailytelegraph.com:

Gaga, the hit of last year, will hook up with her idol after her tour ends, thasnks to her dad.
GaGa took her father, Joseph,

along as a guest when she attended the Grammy Awards recently.

When Joseph saw Spears at one of the bash’s aftershow parties, he apparently told the legendary one-time pop princess his superstar daughter is a huge fan and would love to record a duet with her.

"GaGa has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter.

"She was delighted when she found her dad chatting away to Britney at the party.

"He introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.

"At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her Fame Monster tour.”

Britney Spears Not Rushed to Hospital

The following italicized article is from www.eonline.com:

Britney watchers can breathe easy.

Despite reports that Spears was "rushed" to the hospital today, her rep tells E! News she was simply there for a routine checkup.

"Everything is fine," says Spears' rep. "Britney is there for an annual physical."

Photogs claimed Brit-Brit was accompanied to UCLA Medical Center's Mattel Children's Hospital earlier today by two cars and a police escort.

And Perez Hilton had the Twitter world in a tizzy when he posted: "I'm hearing that @BritneySpears is in the emergency room right now. Hope it's nothing major and everything is okay! Maybe her kids?"

Imagine that, the blogosphere blowing something out of proportion.

Britney & K-Fed -- $50,000 Up for Grabs

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline still have one huge asset to settle -- according to the Louisiana State Dept. of Revenue, the government owes the ex-couple over $50,000 from when they were still married.

The money is from an unclaimed interest fund earned from either a joint property the ex-couple sold back in Louisiana, or some shared income tax filed several years ago. The government's just waiting for Brit and K-Fed to step forward and say it's theirs.

But here's the point -- because the refund is jointly owned, K-Fed and Brit Brit will have to figure out how to divide up their surprise loot.

Britney Spears Grabs Some Coffee, Gets Her Nails Did

Our dear Britney Spears ventured out into the wet streets of SoCal yesterday in Calabasas, CA to take care of a few errands on her To Do list. Firstly, Ms. Britney made her way to Starbucks to pick up one of her fave caffeinated drinks and then she made her way to the nail salon to get herself a manicure:We know from her song Lace & Leather that Brit Brit is fond of “French fingertips, red lips … [and] cotton candy kiss[es]“ so I’m not surprised to see her French tipped fingernails. While her ex-hubby is trying to peddle a story about depression (which I do not believe at all), Britney is bizzy primping and pampering herself … like she should. She looks great. I love me some Britney!!

Britney Spears Donates Dress to Haiti

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

She's no George Clooney, but Britney Spears is doing her part for the Haitian relief effort -- she's donating a dress she wore at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards for auction.

Britney was in court today for a conservatorship hearing, but has since left the courthouse because of a commitment with her kids.

Brit's lawyer, Geraldine Wyle, asked the commissioner for authority to dispose of certain property -- items that are no longer useful to her or her estate. Wyle was not specific, though we're thinking Adnan is one of the items.

We're told the commissioner also wants to get a first hand look-see of how Britney was doing. No reviews so far.

Britney Spears Credit Card Caper

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

Britney Spears may not be capable of signing record deals and buying homes, but when it comes to a simple shoe purchase, she's a regular shopping ninja.

We've learned Britney is using her bodyguard's credit card to score purchases that don't fit into her conservatorship budget.

Britney hit up the Steve Madden store in the Valley over the weekend and bought 2 pairs of boots. We're told Brit paid for the new kicks with a credit card, but the card had the name of one of her bodyguards on it.

The store employees gave Britney a hard time over the card ... because she signed her own name on the dotted line. We're told Britney convinced the clerk the person named on the card is an employee of her company and she was entitled to use it.

Here's the thing: Under the terms of the conservatorship Britney has a credit card with a limit of $1,500 a week.

Britney Ordered to Court Next Week

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

The commissioner in the Britney Spears conservatorship case wants a command courtroom performance from Ms. Spears, and the commish is frustrated that didn't happen today.

Commissioner Reva Goetz just confirmed what TMZ reported earlier today ... that Britney was due in court at 1:30. We were told her people didn't want her to show because Brit would be besieged by reporters.

But the commish apparently wasn't as receptive to Britney not showing as we had heard. Commissioner Goetz said, "The court was supposed to meet with Ms. Spears this afternoon and there was a misunderstanding. I'm going to continue the matter until next Friday at 1:30 and she will be here."
