Britney Doesn't Care That Adnan Is Married

Though Adnan Ghalib’s wife, AzLynn Berry, filed for legal separation on January 18, it makes no difference to Britney Spears whether her man is hitched or not.

“Britney does not care that Adnan is married,” a Spears family insider tells PageSix.com. “She has no clue who his wife is or how much pain the woman has gone through over all of the media hype.”

The singer’s family is said to be worried about Britey’s “really, really weird relationship” with the paparazzo. Even Kevin Federline, who famously left pregnant girlfriend Shar Jackson for Britney in 2004, thinks that the singer has gone too far.

“Kevin asked her about it — why she is having an affair with a married man. Her response was vague, and she actually acted like she did not know he was married,” says the source.

Adnan confirmed to Entertainment Tonight earlier this week that the couple had recently bought a pregnancy test together. "She has a very maternal instinct,” he told ET. “She was feeling a lot of things she said she felt when she was pregnant. I think she was hoping she was pregnant with my child.

"Indeed, those close to Britney say that baby talk has always been part of the singer’s dating m.o. “Some of Britney's first words to Kevin were how much she wanted babies and kids,” says the insider. “So it does not surprise us that she would say the same to Adnan.”

The source added: “Maybe she told Adnan that she would have his baby because she fears losing another person in her life?”

Britney has pulled away from most of her friends and family since her January 3 meltdown that landed her in a hospital psych ward, but is still in communication with 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn, who she hopes to visit soon.

“Britney has only spoken to Jamie Lynn since the hospital incident. And that is because she is trying to keep a relationship with her,” says the family insider.

So what’s next for the troubled pop princess? Though Britney apparently wants to make a new album, her family is hoping that works through her mental and emotional issues first.

“Right now, Britney's ‘career’ is getting well,” says the source.
