Eonline reports that Britney filmed a promo with this year's host, Forgetting Sarah Marshall's Russell Brand (odd choice), in which the Brit actor/comedian asks the VMA veteran for advice about hosting the show.
During the promo, they also apparently ignore the elephant in the room -- literally. A source says, "there's also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in 'the elephant in the room.' "
We can't wait to see the promo, and are even more jazzed about a possible new Britney performance!!!
Heck, we'd be excited just to see her take the stage, nevermind perform!
