Britney recently appeared on MTV's "Best VMA Opens" special, in which she placed twice on the list for her 2003 VMA kiss, as well as her now infamous 2007 "Gimme More" performance. Britney is rumored to appear at the 2008 Video Music Awards, Sunday, September 7th in LA, where she has been nominated 3 times for "Piece Of Me," her second single off "Blackout." Manager Larry Rudolph, in an email to Ryan Seacrest's kIIs fm show this morning, confirmed Britney will not perform.
