In legal papers filed Friday, her lawyers sought a one-time reimbursement of $25 for use of a private room at L.A.'s Stanley Mosk Courthouse, where the pop star's conservatorship case and her former custody battle have played out.
The room was "needed for privacy from reporters eavesdropping," Spears's lawyers wrote.
In addition, nearly $5,000 was spent in a six-month period for overnight mailing and courier services alone.
"Because of (Spears's) celebrity status, overnight and messenger serves were used in lieu of regular mail to maintain control and confidentiality of the documents," her lawyers added.
While the majority of courthouse activity is considered public record, much of Spears's case has been sealed by the court's discretion.
