Jonas Brothers Offer Support to Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears

The following italicized article is from www.transworldnews.com:

The Jonas Brothers have offered their friendship and support to Britney Spears and her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears. The trio says they are praying for Britney, whose troubles lead to a forced hospitalization earlier this year, and Jamie Lynn, who fell pregnant at 16 and gave birth to her daughter in June.

“It’s hard when everyone’s watching you. All we can do is say, ‘We’re here,’ if they ever need us. They don’t know us, but they’re in our prayers,” says Kevin Jonas.

Meanwhile, the Jonas Brother have shaken off criticism for wearing purity rings. At the VMAs, British comedian Russell Brand slammed the brothers for wearing the rings as a symbol of their vow not to have sex before marriage. Joe Jonas told reporters that all they are worried about is making their mother proud.

“You know, we're just trying our best every day," Joe told reporters. "We're just trying to make our mom proud every day."
