The following italicized article is from www.chicagotribune.com:Britney Spears can thank Oprah and U2 for the lack of buzz surrounding her visit to Chicago this week. The talk show host and Irish rock band stole most of the headlines, making Spears somewhat of an afterthought.
The lack of Britney buzz was also due, in part, to her low-key lifestyle these days. Or at least low-key by Spears' standards. There were no outrageous club stories or panty-less pictures, just a couple of sightings at downtown restaurants and a visit to Bloomingdales.
On Wednesday, Spears ate at Bistro 110 with her two sons before performing at the Allstate Arena. The following night, she had dinner with her kids at Baisi Thai, which is located on the 6th floor of The 900 Shops. Spears ordered sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour shrimp and broccoli and beef -- or as the Chinese place down the street from me likes to call it, the No. 105, the No. 106 and the always popular No. 85.
After dinner, Spears stopped by Bloomingdales and bought a few things from the children's department.
