In the hub-bub of yesterday’s election mania, BritneySpears.com was updated with adorable photos of Britney Spears taking her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James out for a little trick-or-treating fun. As you may recall, Britney posted a group photo of her family and friends in costume on Halloween night on her site earlier in the week and promised a few more exclusive pics from the night’s festivities … and here are some of them:As much as I love my girl Brit, I gotta say that her costume and the costumes of her lady entourage were pretty boring. I don’t think there is a more clichéd Halloween costume for women than “The Witch” costume … unless you’re talking about “The Fairy” costume. To his credit, I think papa Jamie Spears looked awesome (and horrifying) as a scary killer clown. Thankfully he didn’t wear his mask when he accompanied his grandyoung’ns on their trick-or-treating rounds. Sean P. and JJ are just the cutest little guys ever. Sean as a lion and Jayden as a turtle are TO DIE FOR CUTE. We know that daddy Kevin Federline picked up the boys from school on Halloween day (you may recall the brothers were dressed as cute bees) but they got to spend the fun Halloween night with their mama … as it should be. I realize Halloween is way over already but these pics are just too cute to let pass by.

Yesterday we posted a few photos of Britney (not Courtney mistaken for Britney!) on Halloween, and today we have even more EXCLUSIVE pics from Brit to share!

Britney, her dad and her friends took Jayden and Sean out from some trick-or-treating. Looks like they all had a great time! Jayden is just too adorable -- how cute is it that he shares goodies with his mom?

Brit, her friends Courtney and Laura Lynn, her assistant Brett and dad Jamie took the boys out trick or treating before heading home to get ready for Drew Barrymore's party.

It’s Britney, Witch!

Britney Spears, who has of late been very open and forthcoming with her fans on everything from spending time with her children to rehearsing for her new music video, was curiously shy this Halloween weekend as she made her way out of Drew Barrymore’s Halloween party. Dressed as a witch (I think), Britney hid behind her conical hat as she departed from the Halloween fête:
You can see that Brit Brit was rockin’ a witchy black wig while her two friends wore white wigs but it’s evident that she wasn’t really interested in showing off her costume:
Honestly, with all the openness that Britney has been sharing on her official website in recent weeks, I can understand how she might want to lay low every once in a while.

X17 was the only one to catch Brit last night in a car, leaving the chic Beverly Park neighborhood (where Robbie Williams just bought a house for $26 million), after having attended a Halloween party at her pal (and Palms owner) George Maloof's house.

Brit was dressed as a platinum-haired fairy -- she was with her always-scary dad (in the front seat) and her fav cousin Laura Lynn Covington, who was also dressed as a wigged-out fairy :)
