Britney Settlement Papers: Blow By Blow

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

The Britney Spears trial is over. The case has officially settled.

Under the terms of the settlement filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, before July 30, Brit must pay K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Kaplan, $250,000 for fees.

As for child support, K-Fed has scored. As we first reported, he's getting 5k a month more -- it's gone from $15,000 to $20,000 a month.

The agreement does not mention visitation, but we know Brit has three days and one night a week with the kiddies and that will increase as time goes on. We're told by fall, she'll have a second overnight a week.

Brit never asked for custody, because she's still under a conservatorship. So K-Fed has sole custody and she has visitation rights. We're told Brit is ecstatic.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline reach custody agreement?

The following italicized article os from www.nowmagazine.co.uk:

Former couple to put proposal to court tomorrow.

Britney Spears and ex husband Kevin Federline are said to have agreed to share care of their sons.

Last month the judge overseeing their custody case asked the former couple to try to reach a settlement between themselves.

And now insiders claim that Britney, 26, and K-Fed, 30, will put forward their proposal to LA Superior Court at a private hearing tomorrow.

‘Commissioner Alan Gordon told Britney and Kevin to mediate a deal to avoid the nightmare of a trial,’ says a source. ‘It seems they’ve done that and it all now hinges on whether the judge agrees with what they put to him.’

It's hoped he will accept that Britney is well enough to look after Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 21 months.

‘She’s in terrific spirits and is extremely hopeful that the judge will allow her to become a proper mum again,’ the source tells the Daily Star Sunday.

‘She believes she’s within sight of being the woman she once was and wants to rebuild her life as well as her career.'
