Brit's Standoff With Sam

Brit was in great spirits all evening - so what could have caused her to chew out her good pal Sam at 7am this morning?

After making a stop for Red Bull, Brit and pals returned to the Beverly Hills Hotel, only to emerge again around 6 am, where she headed back out, with Sam in the passenger seat.

But soon after they got to the Pacific Coast Highway, Brit decided she wanted to change places with Sam, who seemed a little frustrated at the seemingly aimless driving.

But just a half hour later, it was Britney who grew frustrated with Sam! The car stopped once again on Coldwater Canyon (not too far from her Beverly Hills house).

Having removed her wig, she demanded that Sam switch places again so that she could take over driving duties. But when Sam refused, Brit cursed him out in her British brogue (she may have removed the wig, but not the accent!), until Sam finally acquiesced and let her take over driving duties. With the sugary pink wig, did the sweet disposition go as well?

Taking control, Brit eventually drove the car the short distance home.

Hey, since the car's just a rental, it's no surprise that Britney would want to get as much time behind the wheel of that cute little Mercedes.

I guess what a girl wants, a girl gets!
