Britney Spears' Kids Think Kevin Federline's New Girlfriend Is 'Cool'

The following italicized article is from www.entertainmentwise.com:

Britney Spears will no doubt be ecstatic to learn that Kevin Federline's new girlfriend has received the seal of approval from their two sons.

The singer's former husband has been seen out and about with volleyball star Victoria Prince in recent weeks, but has yet to comment on the blossoming romance.

However, another of his ex's – Shar Jackson - has weighed in to confirm that the dancer turned wannabe rapper is serious about his new lover - because he's already introduced her to his boys Sean Preston and Jayden James.

She tells HollyScoop, "I met her (Prince) once and she was really cool.

But that's as far as I want to get involved in that.

“But the kids have spent a little time with her and thought she was pretty cool. So that's all that matters, as long as they think she's cool."

K-Fed's Kids: Can't We All Just Get Along?

The following italicized article is from www.tmz.com:

It's a modern-day Brady Bunch. Where's Alice when you need her?

On an outing at the L.A. Zoo yesterday, Kevin's mama Julie had her hands full with the half-siblings, SPF and JJ from Britney and Kori and Kaleb from ex Shar Jackson ... though having a full-time nanny and bodyguard around can't hurt.

K-Fed's Big Year Out

The following italicized article is from www.eonline.com:

Not sure about the kind of luck Kevin Federline's having these days, but everyone else sure seems to score when he's around.

And we don't just mean the strippers at Scores Las Vegas, where Britney Spears' ex-husband recently left a $2,000 tip on a $365 tab, prompting an inquiry from Spears' camp into whether Federline really needed help paying his attorneys' fees.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, the doting dad continues to spend big bucks on the kids ($1,517 during one trip to Babies R Us, for example), but he also isn't shy about dropping $589 on a pair of Gucci trousers or pampering himself to the tune of $1,200 at the Burke Williams spa in Los Angeles.

And, apparently he is single-handedly supporting the Venetian, the Hard Rock, Caesars Palace and various other Vegas hotspots when out of town, spending $50,489.71 for room and board, purchasing $40,000 worth of bling at Leor Jewelry & Timepieces at the Palms and plunking down $2,632 in one sitting/mingling at Tao Beach, the Venetian's poolside club.

Here's a rundown of some of the more noticeable expenditures billed to Federline over the past year:

$500 dropped one night at the Mondrian Hotel's Sky Bar in West Hollywood. That's one night out of many. Tons. More nights than there are in a year, it seems. (All those spread sheet figures start running together after awhile.)

$3,923 for a shopping spree at Barney's New York (in Beverly Hills), part of the $10,300.50 in wardrobe expenses that kept him suitably clothed for all those nights on the town in 2007.

$477 at a HoneyBaked Ham store. Someone got a nice gift last year.

$127.15 at Ann Taylor, which sells only ladies' clothing, so while we don't know who the threads were for, they weren't for him. (Well, they weren't listed under "total wardrobe expenses," anyway.) Actually, Spears' family attorney, Stacy Phillips, alleged in court last month that Federline lets the mother of his first two kids, Shar Jackson, use his business credit card, so maybe his once-spurned ex decided to treat herself.

Various dues and insurance fees paid to the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists. Oh yeah, Federline's been on TV, reading lines.

$105.67 at Victoria's Secret. Ew.

$243.55 at Dave's Flowers & Gifts. Aw.

Not including all of the jaunts to Sin City (airlines of choice include Southwest and Alaska), the stay-at-home dad sure doesn't seem to be home much, at least not at meal time, what with all the credit-card charges from places like Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Chin Chin, Burger King, Quiznos Sub, Pizza Hut, Jerry's Famous Deli, Houston's and Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n Waffles.

Then again, K-Fed is also racking up big bills at Ralphs supermarket, so meals do seem to be getting cooked at Casa Federline, as well.

Meanwhile, the once-aspiring rapper and guest star from small-screen fare such as One Tree Hill and CSI earned $398,734 last year from acting and $124,722 from appearance fees. Only $9,849 of his earnings was music-related.

Britney's Lawyer: "Ms. Spears is Not a Checkbook"

The following italicized article is from www.pagesix.com:

The gloves came off in an L.A. court with Britney Spears' lawyer arguing with Kevin Federline's lawyer over skyrocketing legal fees arising from the former couple's bitter custody battle.

Britney Spears' new lawyer Stacy Phillips argued that K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan's fees are excessive, saying that four months of fees for both sides add up to a whopping $900,000. Additionally, she argued that Kevin has the ability to pay for his own lawyer (the current agreement stipulates that Britney Spears pays for all of her ex-husband's legal fees), saying, "Ms. Spears is not an open checkbook."

After the Phillips said that Kaplan's fees should be in the "$150,000-$175,000 range," she attacked Kevin, saying he has not separated his personal and business expenses, and revealed that his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson has use of his business credit card and is using it for personal purposes. She went on to say that K-Fed recently spent $20,000 on jewelry, went out to dinner and paid a $2000 tip on a $300 bill.

Shar Jackson Defends Kevin Federline's Weight Gain

The following italicized article is from www.usmagazine.com:

K-Fed ... or overfed?

New uncle Kevin Federline appeared to have packed on the pounds after hitting a Los Angeles golf course Friday.

But his ex Shar Jackson says his fuller figure is the result of being a full-time Mr. Mom.

"It's daddy weight!" she tells Usmagazine.com. "When you are a full time parent, sometimes you can't focus on you.

"If gaining a few pounds is your only problem, life's not too bad!"

Adds his rep, "He’s a stay-at-home dad, and people tend to gain weight when they are home with the kids. He's very happy with the way he looks.”

Federline was awarded sole custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 17 months, in January.

He told Details last year that he has fully embraced fatherhood.

“To be a father is ... everything," the rapper — No. 7 on Details’ Top 50 Power Players — said. "It shows me how little I am.”

Shar Jackson Calls Britney Spears' Reunion With Boys "a Good Thing"

The following italicized article is taken from www.usmagazine.com:

Shar Jackson is happy Britney Spears has reunited with her boys.

"I believe that kids need their parents and parents need to be with their kids," she told Usmagazine.com at the Night of 100 Stars party at the Beverly Hills Hotel Saturday night. "It is a good thing."

On Saturday afternoon, Spears' boys, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 17 months, popped by her Beverly Hills, California, home, for nearly three hours after Kevin Federline agreed to restore her visitation rights. (She hadn't seen her boys in seven weeks since she was hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center.)

Federline's counsel Mark Vincent Kaplan tells Us the reunion "couldn’t have happened without" the help of Spears' father, Jamie.

"We were able to get it to a point where everyone was comfortable,” Kaplan tells Us.

“We’re just very positive about it. Having her dad [Jamie Spears] stabilizing everything is a good thing."

Kaplan called Saturday's reunion "a major step," adding that “the goal” for the pair to share joint custody again.

“Whether that happens or not, I don’t know,” Kaplan tells Us, “but Kevin would love to be able to have a parenting partner in helping to raise these kids.”

K-Daddy Going Green?

The following italicized article is taken from www.tmz.com:

Not that kind of green, and not that other kind of green, either. No, it seems that even Kevin Federline is getting hip to the environmentally-friendly movement.

The former Mr. Spears was spotted, report Rush & Molloy, at the Petit Tresor boutique in L.A. buying four organic Robbie Adrian blankets for his boys. (K-Fed also has two kids with Shar Jackson.)

Let's not get too carried away, though -- when the Fed was spotted in NYC recently, he was tooling around in a big, gas-guzzling SUV. Some habits die hard.

Shar Jackson: Britney Spears' Kids “Don’t Know Where She Is”

The following italicized article is taken from www.usmagazine.com:

Sean Preston and Jayden James haven’t seen their mom Britney Spears since a judge stripped her of visitation rights three weeks ago.

And, apparently, they haven’t picked up on the fact that their mama is M.I.A.

“They’re babies, you know, they don’t really know,” Shar Jackson told Usmagazine.com at The Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio Grand Opening Celebration in Las Vegas Jan. 26.

“Of course, all kids say, ‘mama,’ but they don’t really know [where she is],” adds the reality star, 31.

Jackson — who has two kids, daughter Kori, 5, and son Kaleb, 3, with Kevin Federline — says she helps her ex and the nanny with the kids.

“They have a lot of positive people around them, so they’re good,” says Jackson. “The kids all spend a lot of time together, but I’m not trying to take anybody’s place.”

Jackson — who was pregnant with Kaleb when Federline left her for Spears — says “it was a choice” to remain on good terms with her ex.

“It could have gone really bad, and we could have become enemies,” she tells Us. “A lot of people choose to do that, but I don’t have time for that. Life is way too short, and we’re not promised tomorrow, so I don’t want to go out and have bad feelings with anybody.”

Weird because............If my memory serves me, I remember her saying in 2004 that she hated K-Fed!
