Official Statement Regarding Star Magazine and Radar Online Stories

Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false and Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of this story before it was published. The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years. The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney. This is just another example of the irresponsible nature of the tabloid media relying on shoddy sources and false information for the sole purpose of selling magazines, without regard to the truth and without regard to who they hurt in the process. These irresponsible statements are defamatory and Britney Spears' legal team will be taking legal action against all of the appropriate parties.

Putting Britney’s Starbucks Restroom Rumor to Rest

Since the magazine so often gets the “big” things about Spears wrong — claiming she was pregnant; insisting she was planning a wedding; reporting on a supposed bodyguard fling — it’s no surprise its Starbucks story is off by more than a hair.

Tab Claims Britney Spears’ Mom Rushed to L.A. to Save Daughter’s Relationship

In a piece titled, “Britney, Jason and… Mom in the Middle,” Star magazine claims Britney Spears‘ relationship with Jason Trawick is so fragile, her mom Lynne Spears has had to rush cross-country to keep the peace between her daughter and Britney’s boyfriend.

The tab quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Britney is desperate to save her relationship and needs her mother’s help to keep Jason from leaving her for good.”

According to the Star, the situation between Britney and Jason has turned “volatile,” with the singer allegedly threatening to ruin her agent-boyfriend’s career should he leave her.

That’s why, says the mag, Momma Spears has moved in and is staying for a while.

Gossip Cop reached out to a source close to the Spears family, who said the Star’s depiction is “definitely not” accurate, and “all is fine.”

The source further noted that far from moving into Britney’s L.A. home, Lynne Spears has been spending time with her other daughter, Jamie Lynn, on the East Coast.

Unless you have a sodium problem, take this latest Star story with a grain of salt, like such previous pieces from the tabloid: Britney’s pregnant! Jason’s cheating! They’re planning wedding choreography! And the wedding’s off!

Star Magazine Makes “Trouble” for Britney Spears

According to a Star source, “Jason pushes Britney’s emotional buttons. She’s losing it more often.” For her part, Spears allegedly “orders Jason around a lot” and “exploded” on February 25 when Trawick was not “paying enough attention to her.”

Much of the “warfare” supposedly comes from the pop superstar’s anxieties about staying thin. Another “source” claims Trawick “said she could stand to move around a bit because she was fat,” sending Spears on a “crying jag.”

Here’s what Gossip Cop has heard: Nothing has changed since last week’s silly rumors of relationship unrest.

Spears and Trawick are doing just fine.

Britney is featured in the latest issue of Star Magazine. Shocker. The issue details Britney and Kevin's "relationship," and how it is improving for the better. "Britney told her family that she's experiencing the same emotional connection to Kevin that she felt at the beginning of their relationship," a family insider tells Star. "They've been secretly meeting at the Mondrian Hotel," reports another source. "Just recently, they let the nanny and the bodyguard take the kids to the L.A. Zoo so they could hang out together - alone!"

Looks like we have Jamie Lynn to blame for this newly rekindled relationship... According to the mag, "Jamie Lynn was the one that suggested Kevin start picking up Preston and Jayden at Britney's himself, instead of having his bodyguard do it.

"Kevin won't even consider a reconciliation without couples counseling," says a friend. "He feels a third party would help Britney with her indecision when it comes to relationships."

Britney And Justin Hit House Of Blues

One time lovebirds Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were under the same roof last night at the House of Blues in Los Angeles — and they weren’t the only celebs in the, er, House.

Britney was backstage having a great time hanging out with a friend named Marianne, an eyewitness tells Star. She hung for a bit, then left through a side entrance at 10:37 pm, covering her face.

Meanwhile, Justin and Jessica Biel were spotted in the VIP Lounge, bopping to the music and enjoying cocktails. “He had his arm around Jessica the entire time and they were constantly kissing each other,” says an onlooker. “They looked like they were having a blast. They are obviously in love.”

Elsewhere in the club, Robin Thicke stopped his set at 11:15pm to sing “Happy Birthday” to Halle Berry, who was there with beau Gabriel Aubry. The new mom was completely surprised and shocked by the sing-along and looked at Gabriel and asked, “Did you do this?” He replied by giving her a big kiss and said, “Happy Birthday. I love you.”

Awww. Look at these magazines exploiting little Sean and Jayden on their covers for money. Both Life & Style and Star have positive mommy headlines this week. I never thought I'd be saying this, but FUCK these magazines and they're bullshit spin too. Not only are they using children to sell, they are using them and her as just another story for them. They don't give a shit about Britney. Where were they when she needed their support the most? Trashing her left and right with headlines saying Britney thought "they were mistakes." So quick we are to forget. No cover stories in Us Weekly, OK!, or In Touch this week. Wahhh.

Better than nothing I suppose. But like usual, I'm afraid the tide will change. Maybe I just need more sleep.

The new issue of Star claims that after spending Easter weekend together, the exes are planning a trip to Maui “far from the glare of Hollywood to work on their relationship.” The tabloid quoted a source as saying that Federline “wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them.”

But a rep for the rapper, 30, tells Usmagazine.com the story is "not true."

The tabloid's cover — which boasts the line “Brit & Kevin’s Secret Weekend” — shows a photo of the two happily vacationing. Turns out, the picture is from their 2005 honeymoon in in Fiji.

Federline, however, wouldn’t mind being on better terms with his ex, with whom he has two sons, Sean, 2, and Jayden, 19 months.

“He really loves her and holds a candle for her,” a Federline source recently told Us Weekly.

Britney Spears Pregnant, Not Likely!

Rumors that Britney Spears may be pregnant with paparazzo boy-toy Adnan Ghalib's baby are circulating the internet faster than Paris Hilton's debut video with Rick Salomon - but that doesn't mean the rumors are true.Star Magazine's new issue (on stands now) features a plumper Brit-Brit on the cover with a circle around her tiny tummy and the headline "Adnan: Brit's Having My Baby."

Britney, who has been seen out and about on several occasions lately, doesn't appear to be sporting a baby bump - she actually looks pretty toned if you ask us.

Either Star Magazine photo shopped the picture or they caught the pop tart at a bad angle - either way, we're pretty sure she's not preggers with Adnan's baby.

The troubled singer has been in and out of the hospital twice in the past six weeks, I'm pretty sure during all the tests they would have seen some signs of pregnancy before now. She's barely even had contact with Adnan the past few weeks - and her visitations with the photog were probably supervised by Brit's dad Jamie anyways.

Besides, we're pretty sure Adnan (as sketchy as he is) wouldn't tell Star Magazine that Brit's pregnant - we all know he'd cash in with his own photo agency FinalPixx before anywhere else.

Star Magazine is hardly a reputable source. They also printed that Brit and Adnan got married a few weeks ago - which they never did.

We're filing this one under the rumor mill - until there's confirmation from a more reputable, more respectable source.
