"Word is that the video starts with Britney undressing," said the insider. "She was wearing some cheap clothes that she bought down there in Rosarito. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout. At one point in the tape Adnan asks the singer to remove the pink bob but she refused. HIMYM Bosses Considereing Britney For A Regular Spot!

Britney Spears is being tipped for a regular spot on sitcom How I Met Your Mother, by one of its stars Alyson Hannigan.

Rumors have circulated the show’s bosses are considering Spears’ for a permanent turn on the show after ratings soared when she returned for a second stint, playing ditzy receptionist Abby on Monday evening’s episode. Hannigan, who worked with Spears on set, is eager for her to come back full time. She says, “She’s fantastic and just a really, really sweet girl.”

And the actress describes the media circus surrounding Spears’ presence: “Well the first episode was a big hoopla. A helicopter followed her into work and people were taking pictures of her off the parking structure. It was pretty crazy. But the second time they moved her trailer to a more isolated location and the paparazzi sort of left her alone I guess. Is the top of her head is it really that interesting?”

A Tiny Bump In The Road

OK ... so maybe driving isn't really her strong suit. Britney Spears was involved in, yet another, eensy weensy vehicular accident on Sunset Blvd. this week when she kinda sorta rear-ended a Ford Explorer with her white Mercedes of death. Here are a few pics of Brit's latest fender bender:

The good news is that no one was injured ... it's also good that she didn't flee the scene of the crime without talking to the other party (you may recall that Britney was involved in a hit and run with another car in a parking lot last year ... which hounded her for months afterwards). Now, it's perfectly normal for these sorts of things to happen -- they can really happen to anyone. There is no cause for concern ... this is not the return of "crazy Britney" it's just a minor traffic infraction ... yeah ... that's it ... nothing more to worry about ... I'm sure.

Mother's Day couldn't have come at a better time this year for Britney Spears. As she continues to recover from a tumultous year, the one thing she has come to rely on is the precious time spent with her sons, Sean Preston, 2, and one-year-old Jayden James.

The singer,26, spent a relatively low-key and happy Mother's Day on May 11 with her own mom, Lynn Spears, and her two boys at her home in Studio City, Calif. Also on hand was Brit's dad, Jamie Spears, himself a trained chef who prepared a lavish brunch for the group.

A neighbor who saw Britney that day tells OK!, "She was smiling like I haven't seen in ages."

The source of Brit's smile was undoubtedly her two boys. Britney shared almost the entire day with them, as they played, napped and ate on their regular schedule. By mid-afternoon, it was time for their favorite activity: touring the neighborhood in their little wagons.

"Britney was laughing with the boys, and clapping her hands when they pushed the cart and waddled their little toddler walks," the neighbor says. "It was cute and charming and very loving."

And check this out: A source tells OK! exclusively that Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline sent her a magnificent arrangement from the popluar L.A. florist Empty Vase, and included a card signed by him and the boys.

"Their relationship is improving for the sake of their sons," explains Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Later that evening after the boys were picked up by Kevin's bodyguard, Britney dined with her mom at the restaurant Sur in West Hollywood.

"She looked more at ease and comfortable with herself than I've seen in a very long time," a source said.

The singer was driving her white Mercedes SL on the strip just after 2 PM local time when she rear-ended a red Ford Explorer, X17 Online reported.

According to X17 Online, neither party was hurt in the crash.

Britney reportedly suffered some damage to the front of her luxury vehicle.

Britney Spears might be a crummy driver, but she's apparently a gracious host.

Spears was tooling around Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills in her convertible Mercedes SL when she rear-ended a red 1998 Ford Explorer at about 2 p.m. today.

Sources tell E! News that Spears' bodyguard jumped out to talk down the other motorist, and the "Toxic" songbird hopped into the passenger seat, just as she did last month when she was involved in a similar fender-bender on Los Angeles' 101 Freeway.

Edith Cortese, the woman in the Explorer, then followed Team Spears back to the singer's gated home and was invited inside. For the return trip, the singer's bodyguard took the wheel of the Mercedes, which seemed to fare the worst in the collision, suffering noticeable front-end damage.

A source says Cortese is being completely cooperative and only went to Spears' house to exchange information because "there were so many photographers around." Shocking.

Los Angeles police said they were aware of an incident involving Spears but did not have any immediate details; neither did the Beverly Hills cops.

Dad Jamie Spears had barred his daughter from driving since her January meltdown before finally relenting last month. Shortly thereafter, on April 12, the singer collided with another vehicle, but there were no injuries and no citations were issued.

Last night's "How I Met Your Mother" episode came out with a rating of 5.5/9 according to zap2it.com, averaging out to about 9 million viewers in total. While it's a million viewers lower than her first appearance with a 6.3/10 rating, it's still a million viewers higher than that show's average ratings, and pulled in an extra 600,000 viewers from last week's episode. By no means a flop.

Britney Places #19 On Maxim's Hot 100

Take notes FHM! According to FoxNews.com, Britney has officially landed a spot on Maxim's 2008 Hot 100 this year, coming in at number 19. "Britney Spears and her reformation, the songstress has successfully strutted her way back onto the Top 20 of Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list."

Britney didn't make the cut last year at all. And I must agree, healing your body and mind IS really sexy. Congrats Brit! Let's get ya #1 for 2009.

The Return Of Britney

Britney Spears made her second guest appearance of the year on CBS's How I Met Your Mother last night, reprising her role as Abby -- the love-struck (and borderline obsessive) receptionist who philanders with Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris) while pining away for Ted (Josh Radnor). Personally, I think that Brit Brit did an amazing job on last night's ep ... as did the People magazine TV critic, tho he finds fault with the episode's writing and not with Britney's acting.

I liked the way she tried to vent her conflicted feelings of anger and love for Ted while lying in bed and staring dreamily at the ceiling: "You know what I hate most about Ted? His stupid hair ... His stupid, lame, awesome hair. It's so stupid and awesome," she said with a cute, singsong lilt. But the script was an awful piece of specialty construction. Abby's reverie occurred in a bed shared with Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), who was also feeling rejected by Ted -- as a friend. His and Abby's mutual annoyance turned them both on, so they slept together. Then they decided to pose as a couple to annoy Ted. Then Barney carried the joke too far by proposing to Abby. Then Abby suddenly thought Barney really loved her. Then, to get out of the engagement, Barney told Abby that their romance had done the trick and now a jealous Ted did love Abby. And then Abby got this crazy love-hungry Shelley Winters-like gleam in her eye, setting up the possibility for a third guest spot. Well, that’s a lot to cram into the subplot of a 20-odd-minute show. It would have taken me less time to type out the synopsis of Dangerous Liaisons. The twists felt arbitrary and perverse, even for a so-so sitcom, which is what HIMYM is.

I believe the entire ep of HIMYM can be streamed online at CBS.com but you can watch all the Britney Spears clips from last night's ep online HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. It's not that I don't necessarily agree with the People critic but I think that pontificating about a primetime sitcom like this, especially when a guest appearance by a non-actress is involved, kinda misses the point. I think fans just want to see their favorite guest stars on their favorite TV shows. I watched the ep and I really think that it turned out very well ... I think I even preferred it to the first ep that Brit guested on (hello, we got to see NPH topless in bed). In the end, the situation is win-win for both the show and for Britney. HIMYM got renewed for next season and Britney is showing the naysayers that she can get her life back in order and be successful again. Love it, love her!!
