"Truth" Time For Clemens, Spears

The following italicized article is taken from www.pagesix.com:

The producer of FOX's new reality hit confirms to PageSix.com that he's looking for Roger Clemens and Britney Spears to climb into the hot seat.

The Moment of Truth's executive producer Howard Schultz tells us he has indeed written a letter requesting baseballer Roger come on the program to confront rumors that he's received steroid injections to improve his performance.

Oh, and he wants Brit to stop by, too.

Britney [Spears] would be a wonderful thing," Howard said.

If either participates in the game show, where contestants are administered polygraph tests and awarded cash for each honest answer they give, they could score up to $500,000 for the charity of their choice. The producer is also open to paying them personally for the appearance.

Truth fetched 23.3 million viewers in its premiere, directly following American Idol on Wednesday, and Howard's got a plan for keeping it that way.

The producer also has his eye on other juicy guests (with juicier confessions) including Senator Larry Craig and Drew Peterson.
