Video footage of Britney Spear's new single Womaniser has been leaked onto the internet, prompting fears that her comeback may not go as smoothly as planned.
The video which shows the singer rehearsing with her dancers in a studio found its onto the web last week.
Since then a radio station decided to play a 40 second clip, resulting in thousands of fans wanting to take a sneak peak at the most highly anticipated pop comeback of the year.
The Mirror quotes a source as saying: "Record company bosses have been frantically trying to pull the material from the internet."
But anything about Britney spreads like wildfire.
"The track wasn't finished. It's not good for Britney's comeback if people aren't getting to listen to the polished version. It is a massive glitch in the promotional campaign the record company were planning to roll out."
The source added how distressed this is making Britney: "She is finally getting herself back on the straight and narrow, but is still finding it hard to trust people again."
The fact someone has secretly recorded rehearsals has really upset her. She's really nervous about her comeback, probably more than last time.”
