Britney Spears will perform live in Bryant Park on ABC's Good Morning America on December 2, to promote her sixth studio album Circus, which drops that day. "Everybody wanted her - she was the big get - but 'GMA' and ABC outfoxed the 'Today' and NBC," sources tell Pagesix.
Britney has yet to decide if she'll do an interview.
The performance on December 2, which is also Britney's 27th birthday, would be her first live performance, not involving lip synching, since the break down of her marriage in 2006.
Britney's last live performance at MTV VMAs in 2007 was a disaster as she appeared to sleepwalk on stage failing to even lip synch correctly.
Britney Spears is scheduled to perform Womanizer, the first to be released single from Circus, in UK in December on X-Factor.
A 90- minute film produced by MTV and tentatively titled For the Record, documenting Britney Spears return to show biz with the upcoming release of her sixth studio album Circus will air on November 30 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
