Britney Spears is set to tell all about her crazy life in a shock new telly show.

The MTV documentary will lift the lid on her battle with mental illness and her chaotic family life.

But insiders fear it could turn into “car crash television”.

Britney, 26, has shocked fans with her raunchy antics, including shaving her head, battering a car with an umbrella and even having a lesbian romp in a pool with former PA Shannon Funk.

She has also spent two spells in rehab, and her parents are said to be “furious” over her TV plans. But Brit has ignored pleas from them and ex-husband Kevin Federline, 30, to snub the show.

A source said: “Britney’s dad is furious. He thinks it’s a big mistake and doesn’t want anything to do with it. “But Britney thinks it will help her custody battle for her two sons.”

Mum Lynne, 53, is also said to be trying to talk her out of appearing in the show.

It has even been claimed that Britney is using it to hit back at her mother’s book before it comes out. The singer is said to fear it will expose their rocky relationship and wants to make sure she gets her own side of the story across.

Another pal added: “This could turn out to be the biggest car crash television moment of all time.”

A spokeswoman for Britney declined to comment on the tell-all film.

MTV in London said they were not aware of the project.

On the career front, as Britney told OK! in her recent exclusive interview — she's back to work on her upcoming album. And this weekend saw the 26-year-old heading to two different recording studios, in Hollywood and Silver Lake, to lay down some tracks.

Then it was off to a party in the Hollywood Hills for her hairstylist and good friend Kim Vo, who has been credited with getting Brit to ditch the pink wigs and horrific weaves that marked her dark period in late 2007 and early 2008. Kim is also responsible for Britney's locks on her two appearances on How I Met Your Mother.

Britney Owes Big Money in Custody Battle

Stacy Phillips, one of the shorter-term members of Britney Spears' legal team, has let it be known that shoring up one's defenses can be downright bank-breaking.

According to a declaration filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the "Sometimes I Run" songstress owes $338,414.87 to Phillips for $700-an-hour services rendered between March and June—and there are rumors of a lawsuit in the works because Spears' camp is objecting to the hefty sum.

But that's a discount, says the attorney, who states that the tab includes "time already deducted as a courtesy," time "written off" and $75,000 that she expects to get next month. (A court commissioner earmarked that sum for Phillips in April while poring over Spears' bills.)

Phillips was dismissed before Spears' custody settlement was reached last month with the help of her recently reinstated family lawyer Laura Wasser, who broke ranks last fall but returned in time to help Spears obtain more visitation privileges with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James (although Kevin Federline still has sole physical and legal custody).

Wasser's most recent bill, encompassing two months of counsel, totals $60,075, per court documents filed on behalf of the law firms of Wasser, Cooperman & Carter and Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra.

But, because her firm has already applied Spears' $25,000 retainer fee toward her bill, she's requesting no more than half of

Why so high, you might ask?

Phillips says that Spears' conservatorship arrangement, which has gotten much of the credit for her 180-degree turn for the better over the last five months, made her case more complex.

Indeed. Attorneys for dad Jamie Spears indicated in court last week that they intend to contest his litle girls legal bills.

Meanwhile, the firm of Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps is requesting $110,000 of the $220,600 it says its owed for 402 hours of representing the conservatorship.

Britney to Birkhead: I Feel Your Pain

So you thought Larry Birkhead's legal bill was sky high? The lawyer who repped Britney Spears for a grand total of four months wants more than $481,000 in attorney's fees -- and she didn't even go out for lobster.

Attorney Stacy Phillips filed a declaration, claiming her $481,627.37 bill is a bargain, since she graciously discounted her fees by more than $126,000.00.

In court docs obtained by TMZ, Phillips whines she was completely put out by repping Brit, moaning that she was called back from her "pre-honeymoon" to attend a hearing in "non-Court attire." We're wondering if that was the day we saw her appear before the judge, wearing a sleeveless cocktail number.

Phillips says in her declaration that her rate is $700 an hour, similar to what Richard Gere paid Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman."

Now compare Phillips' bill to that of disso-queen Laura Wasser, who settled the whole case after Phillips was fired. Wasser's two-month bill is $59,700.

Sources say Phillips is ready to sue Britney, because her peeps are refusing to pay the bloated bill.

Filings: Spears' Custody Fight With K-Fed Costly

Britney Spears' recently resolved custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline wasn't just messy, it was expensive. Court documents show legal bills submitted on behalf of two law firms who represented Spears total more than $466,000. That's on top of the $250,000 the 26-year-old pop singer has agreed to pay Federline's attorneys.

The largest bill comes from attorney Stacy D. Phillips, who says in court filings that she is owed nearly $407,000 for four months of work. Phillips claims she has written off another $125,000 in fees.

Attorney Laura Wasser, who took over the case in June and negotiated an agreement between Federline and Spears' camp that allows the singer more time with her young sons, is seeking $60,000. She worked on the case nearly two months.

Federline retains full custody of the children, but Spears has some overnight visits.

Spears and Federline were married in 2004 and completed their divorce last July. She pays him $20,000 a month under an agreement finalized in July.

Phillips claims in court documents the case was made more complicated because Spears is under the temporary conservatorship of her father, James. He took control of his daughter's personal and financial affairs after a series of high-profile incidents of erratic behavior and two hospitalizations.

Any payments will have to be approved by a Los Angeles court commissioner, and attorneys representing Spears' and her father's interests indicated last week in court they intend to contest Phillips' bill.

Lady Gaga confirms on a Youtube video, that the song she wrote for Britney was originally made for herself. In a short interview she is asked “Hows that going? How are you thinking to be working with Britney?” GaGa replies “Well, I actually recorded the song for myself.. Larry Rudolph came in to say hello, he’s her manager, he heard the record that I did, and he was like ‘who the hell is this? Britney’s gotta sing this” Britney recorded the song in no time as GaGa explains “she did this in 2 hours”

PS: This is the same song Darkchild was talking about in an interview a couple months ago. He described it as dancey, uptempo, and very “hook friendly”.

Once a week, Britney Spears drives to The Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey and indulges in her new favorite activity working out. "While she was running on the treadmill, she was joking about how she doesn't have a man," says a witness at the hotel's gym. The singer recently confided to a pal, "I lost my mojo," and hasn't been intimate with anyone in seven months.

Since Britney's father, Jamie, moved in with her in February when he took control of her life, it's been difficult for her to date. "How do you make out with a guy while your dad watches?" Britney joked to another friend.

Even though Britney regularly texts ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib --- and he sometimes sneaks over to her house for nighttime swims --- the photographer's visits been strictly platonic. "There's no way that Jamie would allow Adnan and Britney to be alone," an insider reveals.

Aside from Jamie's strict rules, the medication the 26-year-old has been taking to combat what is believed to be bipolar disorder appears to have put a dent in her sex drive.

"She is on a powerful regimen of prescription drugs," the insider shares. "One of the side effects seems to me lack of sexual interest."

She wants to find true love

A tame love life is a huge change for Britney, who once boasted about having sex three times in a day when she was still married to her now ex-husband.

Kevin Federline and has romanced a string of men since she filed for divorce in 2006. But celebrity rehab therapist Dr.Drew Pinsky, who does not treat Britney, says outrageous sexual behavior could have been a symptom of her illness. "With bipolar, you become hypersexual," Dr.Drew tells In Touch. "Before Britney began treatment, sleeping around with different men could have been the result of the manic state she was in."

Dr.Drew sees Britney's celibate lifestyle as a positive step toward her getting healthier. "I am seeing the results of good psychiatry and good parenting," he says.

Abstinent or not, Britney would still like to have a man in her life. "Right now, Britney isn't looking for a lover, She's looking for a boyfriend," her pal shares. "She really wants a guy that she can cuddle with."

Britney And Justin Hit House Of Blues

One time lovebirds Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were under the same roof last night at the House of Blues in Los Angeles — and they weren’t the only celebs in the, er, House.

Britney was backstage having a great time hanging out with a friend named Marianne, an eyewitness tells Star. She hung for a bit, then left through a side entrance at 10:37 pm, covering her face.

Meanwhile, Justin and Jessica Biel were spotted in the VIP Lounge, bopping to the music and enjoying cocktails. “He had his arm around Jessica the entire time and they were constantly kissing each other,” says an onlooker. “They looked like they were having a blast. They are obviously in love.”

Elsewhere in the club, Robin Thicke stopped his set at 11:15pm to sing “Happy Birthday” to Halle Berry, who was there with beau Gabriel Aubry. The new mom was completely surprised and shocked by the sing-along and looked at Gabriel and asked, “Did you do this?” He replied by giving her a big kiss and said, “Happy Birthday. I love you.”

“Halle looked amazing and truly happy,” says an eyewitness.
